that stats are actually quite alarming... the number of kids who play hockey beyond 12-13 is a huge drop off... I'd have to imagine it has a lot to do with the cost - and the changing demographics.

He didn't really have any glaring giveaways nor did he make any plays that were risky in poor areas of the ice. I saw Tavares with a no-look backhand in his own end from the corner out front which pissed me off because it was nearly picked off and it was such a dumb and unnecessary play - but you'll see all the creative guys recklessly do that from time to time and Marner hasn't in the past couple of games. It sounds like an empty platitude but there's an attention to detail there that I appreciate.

If Pasta had an answer for what the leafs have been doing to him he would have figured it out in the last 2 elimination games.

Kudos to the Leafs D for swarming him.

They really do not have many legit scoring threats, Leafs have bought in to making Pasta and Marchands lives hell.

Sounds like some teams have been able to bully him like this and he turns into dust.
