In my hockey pool I picked players from Dallas, Edmonton, Florida and Carolina - my guess at the final four - so I'm definitely hoping Dallas wins.

I have. Had I seen that BEFORE I made my picks I might have considered differently - but Dallas plays defense very well. Some of what we're seeing right now is opponent based.

Vegas has a lot more physical force up front that does hamper Dallas' defense a bit and I think that's making Dallas look a little more pedestrian at times, but I think Dallas would handle the Avs better.

Colorado is insane off the rush, but Winnipeg's defense was exceptionally porous and for some reason allowed a great deal of puck movement through the seams which Colorado exploited to great effect. I think Dallas has the system to slow them on the rush and interrupt D-zone puck movement. They are also much better at pressuring the puck carrier and identifying the pass options.

Oh yeah, I’m more of a pipe user nowadays since I quit smoking cigarettes about 3 years ago but my neurologists have flat out told me it’s not those or alcohol causing my issues.

The good old insular cortex is the issue, not many epileptics get this, it was cool how they treated me for now, hooked the cables in my head up to a computer and literally burst the gas bubbles inside that lobe. It literally sounded like popping popcorn going off in my head for about 2.5 hours. I’ve yet to sweat during my sleep since then too, I used to routinely even though my temp was only 36.5C or so.

Thankfully I only live about a 15min drive from here. Quick stop at a weed store and a beer store, both close to my home, will make the trip just lovely for when I get home

If they are such a good team that they can afford to not ice their captain (8.5mil), first line centreman (10mil), their goalies 1-7 and half of their lineup. Then what are we even complaining about? Good for them. Name me a team that wants or can survive these bullpoop things they run into?
