Stats aside, Bruins might have the best goaltending in the league and the Leafs have 3 scrappy guys. Shouldn't you expect them to get the better goaltending?

let's be honest

the bottom half of the leafs roster is pretty bad

being a top heavy cap team with blah prospects will make that happen on a roster

bruins have better goalies
bruins had a better bottom half of the roster in the regular season which is why game 7 was in boston

we are entering that territory with zero playoff games though

Interesting that if not everyone one of them, then 15 of them ... Playoff Teams are over the regular season Cap. Some by a couple $m, others by $15m+. Some have their injured players still out so not as egregious, others with a little or none still on LTIR.

I guess, it is another season no matter who wins that will have the "*" on the Cup.

xG was Bos 23 - Tor 21 for the series. Bos won 4 games by xG. Boston has better goalies by miles. Would be a stretch to call a single game stolen.

I think that was a major issue.
