Had another weird bird sighting walking the dog this morning. Four turkey vultures were hanging out in the school yard we pass through. Probably not an omen but they’re ugly enough to be Brad Marchand’s siblings

We rounded up the neighborhood's stray cats at our own expense and had them "TNVR'ed" - trap, neuter, vaccinate, and release. The population has stabilized and there are no more tomcats pumped up on hormones fighting over territory. Now it's a bunch of lazy fatass moochers.

In all seriousness though, if we hadn't taken the initiative to do that (and maintain it over years), this entire area would be overrun with strays.

Thank you for doing that. By neutering you helped reduce the spread of FIV, which is endemic in feral, stray and outdoor cats particularly intact males.

I know because I adopted an FIV positive cat. He's awesome, but a special needs cat. So I'm mindful of issues around cats and I appreciate you doing that.
