You cannot be in an airtight, defense-first series, a series that has had low scoring throughout, and cough up a weak short-side goal like that.

I've said it a million times on here: Sammy is fundamentally flawed in his setup and execution, relying on his athletic ability (which is very good) to make all of his saves.

Every save has excess movement, which is chance for leakage and rebounds, and because of his poor fundamentals, he cost us that game.

He only had to kill 9 minutes and let in a short-side goal. It wasn't a hard shot. It was poor positioning. On the winner, he could have came out and played the puck. He lost his concentration and it cost us a series. Yes, Marner was the number 1 culprit for letting his check get by him, but the comedy of errors cost the Leafs a playoff round.

I agree with that, but he is not the main reason we are out. Part of the reason, sure. Even prime Carey Price couls not have carried this team if we only score 1-2 goals a game.

The only way signing Edmundson is a good idea is in a very short, very cheap contract.

The man's body is broken (chronic back problems), he was great in the playoffs for Toronto since he's a gamer but you kinda flip a coin if he's gonna feel good enough to play at this point.

Marner & Rielly + Leafs first rounder to the NYI.

Sorokin & Dobson + Islanders first rounder to Tor.

Why? Roy isn't a fan of Sorokin. Lou drafted Marner.
