what would we have to give up to get Marner? Pulock or Pelech and a pick? - LItransplant44
They both have full NTC's. So unless one of them wants to uproot their family and move to TOR...it ain't happening |

Sheldon Keefe has been relieved of his role as head coach. The organization will immediately begin the search for a new head coach. - eichiefs9
They had to get rid of Keefe but I can’t understand how Shanahan still has a job. That Shanaplan is 10 years in, with one round win. Disaster….and bordering Snow status. Love the guy as a player but his record in management is cringe worthy. |

That sums up Mitch Marner in one play. No thanks - kindlyrick
If the Leafs trade Marner I think he's going to make them look real bad. Not only are they trading him at the lowest his value is going to go, but I think he is going to excel outside of the pressure of playing in a lunatic market like Toronto. |

Leafs brass isn't speaking until tomorrow. I would agree that it seems overwhelmingly likely that Shanahan stays, and that's hilarious, but nothing is guaranteed until everyone sees what happens at that press conference. |

This would not be a surprise chief. He really needs a change of scenery.

Would make no sense for Shanny to get to keep his job. He may get one more year though.

He’s gonna get pts anywhere he goes for sure. But he’s damaged goods if you ask me. Read a rumor of Marner for Seth Jones. |

I would trade quite a bit without ever looking back for Marner. Marner and Barzal on a line would more then likely be pretty good damn entertaining to watch. |

Same. Isles main issue is scoring. That would help solve it.

Well I’m not so sure about that anymore. Their defense doesn’t get enough credit for being sucky imo. Whether Pulock or Pelech bounce back is the real question. I’m beginning to doubt that happens. |

Wonder if Guentzel would be an option in FA. Not sure we have the cap room, or if he’d sign, but he’d be perfect w Barzal too. |

Defense is an issue as well and Sorokin needs to bounce back.

Story out there the Islanders should go after Ehlers. 27 . Year left at 6 million. I'd say either Pelech or Pulock and a pick for him or marner. The problems are tor and Winn probably don't want either of them at this point never mind the NTCs. |

The Rangers are a very good team and I thought they would win the series. Canes should still not be on the verge of being down 3-0 though.

Canes playing like sh!t isn’t helping their cause. Not really sure why Brind’Amour keeps throwing Deangelo out there. Guy has been an absolute turn over machine the entire game. |

Canes do not seem playoff tough to me. They need Lee and JGP this offseason.

I'll allow it. Ripping on the Canes worked. I'll keep it up. They are soft and afraid of the Rangers. |
