Imagine my surprise this morning.

So if Dallas goes out, one of Carolina/rangers will go out, and if Florida goes out this round, flyers pick would be 26 right?

27. Rangers/canes
28. Stars

Me too, Colorado seems to play the ole rope-a-dope the first half of games and then start trying when they have to.

12th overall pick is not going to be a game changer. Historically it's good or miss, and mostly miss. I wish the Flyers would be aggressive and trade up for a defenseman, because there are a couple of projected franchise defenseman in this draft. However I don't see that happening. Maybe a player falls to them, but I think there is a fair shot the Flyers trade this pick.

Will Smith is going to be a great NHL center. Having Celebrini and Smith as your 1C and 2C will be very formidable.

They also have Filip Bystedt and Cam Lund, as I said, they're building nicely through the draft. William Eklund producing as well. Quentin Musty had a great year in Sudbury and he's still only 18 years old.

Why I picked the Avs in this series. They smoked the Jets (my dark horse) and I watched most of that series (cause I had good odds on the Jets). Their top players are really on their game right now and that first line is taking over games. I only made it to end of regulation, but not surprised that they won. If the Avs get depth scoring they will be a very tough out. How the hell is Jack Johnson still in this league? It's like Luke Schenn...he was an orange pylon when he was with the Flyers all those years ago and he's still in the league.

I don't see Eiserman falling that far, he will be picked in the top 10. I mean the guy is the best pure goal scorer in the draft. One of the teams will grab him.

if true then why would one of those teams make a trade? what team would you make a trade with to move up and what are you offering.

Hossa, Matt Boldy, Noah Dobson, Necas, McDonagh, Gary Roberts, Tanguay were 12th-overall picks.

Hopefully the Flyers end up with one of those instead of a Marc Staal or Hugh Jessiman.

I think there will be a run on defenseman pushing him down and I think teams see him as a little one dimensional.

Now that dimension is elite and I would take it at 12.
