Yes, it sure was! I had no option but the radio while driving home from the ballpark in Mississauga. I was flying along, hoping to make it home for the finish and then hit construction for a 10 minute slow down. Then, Troch scored when I was about 300m from home!!

Fantastic ending to that game.

ESPN is a joke...beyond cutting away from the last minute of play during regulation, they also graphically displayed on the the boards "Hurricanes Win" on the Necas shot in overtime. Haven't really seen a different angle replay but I even think the shot made it to the net.

And they kept showing that one Canes fan in the stands when they scored...only to not find the miserable expression on that dudes face at the end. Just poor all around.

Gallant sucked for Lafreniere that's indisputable, but Lafreniere played like crap in the Devils series too, and I think that failure was a catalyst for making him work his ass off last summer and part of this guy we have now
