Boston played them really tight. Other option is dump and chase and sadly we dont have many peeps on the PP that can excel there outside of JT. and sadly his chase is a slower chase

Can't really complain. Keefe was paid 1.9 million on his last deal a season. Berube, I think he won with the blues, will easily cash in in Toronto.

Berube worries me. Caught lightning in a bottle one season. Rest is meh and players didnt seem too upset when he was canned. and the leafs dont have any remotely like ROR or Pietrangelo

I don't hate Keefe. He's a decent coach. It was just time. As a Dubas loyalist, he was the last bullet in the chamber before upper management gets the ax. The Leafs need a coach with a winning pedigree. Marner needs to be moved before free agency on July 1st. It gives the Leafs some cap space to fill some holes. I would prefer Marner be moved for younger players with term, and draft capital. Use the $10.9M plus Brodie's $5M to rebuild the right side of the defense. The goaltending with Woll and a couple of journeymen backups should fit the bill. This team doesn't need a rebuild, but a restructure. Tomorrow should be an interesting day to see where this team is heading.

Because it’s Toronto. We’ve seen it numerous times in Pittsburg but it’s good when they do it. Or if MacKinnon does it it’s great leadership.

It’s gone decent, no seizures since the SEET down treatment at the end. Still learning about it but the sounds of popping bubbles in the insula/insular cortex… man oh man that made the head spin like crazy at times

He won a cup with a team that shouldn’t have won. They were always a middle of the pack team quality wise.

He spent almost 6 seasons there and won a cup.

Downplaying his success is silly.

And what the (frank), the leafs most certainly have players like ROR. Matthews is on another planet.

I still think that he needs one more year in Junior. He has the high end skill, but needs an NHL body. He just needs to get bigger physically.

Haahahaha. TSN announcer says Cowan has been impressive but Marner had 44 points one playoff run. Color guys says yes but they are different players. Cowan shows up when it matters most.
