Scary as in Scary Good? 😊 - IonSabres
In a couple years maybe, but may get bushwacked having all 3 together. But who knows, Benny and Savoie could definitely pick up where they left off as well. I'd just be a little leery of throwing them all to the wolves like that.
What do you think of a youthful 3rd line? I mean Peterka/Quinn/Cozens worked out, crazier things have happened. |

Lindy had a big tendency to play vets like Greenway up in the line up. He's probably going to have a favorite that drives us mad. - Lunaion

I considered bumping it up a few more notches, but knowing it's a year out and likely/hopefully a few picks later made me hold back. - Lunaion
That's fair. |

Barkov too, but we won't talk about that right now.
So you guys going to knock the Bruins out Friday or the refs going to push it to 7 games? I only see 2 options.

I dont get why were automatically throwing him back on Line 1. IF they can click again sure, I would prefer to get Tage and Tuch someone else though. |

don't give up on krebs yet, but it needs to happen this fall - homiedclown
Krebs absolutely does not have the high end skill tage does. Tage oozes it and Krebs is a complete non threat when the puck is on his stick in shooting position
For all the passing everyone likes to talk about it has amounted very little. Too many players coming up the pipeline that make him expendable |

Going through the history of 11th overall doesn't really mean much, but if you take a collection of guys like Oliver Wahlstrom, Gabe Vilardi, Logan Brown, Lawson Crouse, Kevin Fiala, Samuel Morin, Filip Forsberg, Duncan Siemans or Jack Campbell.. I probably have a pretty decent chance of finding an NHL caliber player, but the shot I have of finding a player better than the ones we already have, and that I listed higher, is, what.. 30%?
I'm not putting that 30 above the guys I listed. |

he is a playmaker with a little grit
with better wingers, and a different coach the corner may be turned |

He is most likely going to get his shot again this year so I suppose I'm rooting for him. If it makes the team better I am for it
I would bet against it |

You still have those draft lists handy? Remind of some of the players FL could’ve taken instead of Crouse. Not that Couse is bad, just not at #11 pick. Tallon surely loved his big boy centers. |

Why am I betting on an unknown over a known quantity?
Those players, who have multiple years of development in the Sabres system outside of Wahlberg, who has already proven to be at the very least an interesting prospect, should have more value than a completely unknown, un named asset. - TheSabresTaco
This is trade value, right? Teams want their guys. Most of their prospects have lost value in the last year, just how the world works. Savoie had a decent year, but he's not in the NHL and the durability concerns have grown. Benson exceeded and at least kept his value.

They're talking about adding a middle 6C... He would then be slotted at 4th line C again.
Just trade the kid.

Most of the guys on the Sabre list are later than 11th. Doesn't that put them in a lower category from the start?

They proved they lose, promising career for these proven prospects!
How are they going to develop without the great Appert?

1) 24’ 1st
4) Benson
8) Ostlund
2) Levi
3) 25’ 1st
5) Savoie
6) R Johnson
7) Kulich
9) Rosen
10) Whalberg - Lunaion
Ostlund up that high is surprising to me, what do you see in him that pushed him up the list?
