Im sure if you dissect the game the Rangers arent innocent throughout the game. However, up until then both teams only had 1PP so Id say the refs have called it even both ways as opposed to the previous games where theyd be calling penalties left and right all game.

Id rather have a game where the refs dont get involved in borderline penalties, and stay consistent with it both ways, than one where were theres nonstop calls.

Rangers really need to go to the drawing board... need to work on their puck play in the corners and work on their clears out of the zone. Too many turnovers in the defensive zone.

Theres no winning when it comes to the zebras. If theyre calling all the borderline penalties, then we sit here and complain that theyre being too involved and should "let them play". If its a game like tonight where the refs put the whistles in the pocket and actually do let them play, then people complain that theyre not involved enough.

Rangers need a better start to game 5. Last few games been really sluggish in the first period

No way the Canes were going to be swept, they are too good and battle hard.

Trouba 8 penalties and 8 goals against in 4 games

Going into the series if you would have told us we would be up 3-1 after 4 games I think all of us would have taken it 100 times out of 100. Just have to finish at home

Its very clear the future of this defense is Fox, Miller and Schneider.

The positives are that Laf was a beast and Kakko seemed to find his mojo today. Brodzinski had a good game as did Cuylle. If bottom six plays like this Monday, they have an excellent shot to win. Downside, really bad turnovers by Goodrow and Trouba, who has struggled, put them in a 2-0 hole early in the first. Can't keep making the same mistake on clearing attempts. Plus, Fox and Lindgren still are not on top of their games.

Thgouht Fox looked more engaged offensively. They have to take the lead next game and not play catch up. Okay matchups and keep that 3rd pair off the ice against the aho line
