Haven't even finished reading Jan's work or watching all the videos posted. And I will watch them all! But, just had to post after seeing Kreids in the post-game presser. Such a pro and such a great attitude for a member of the leadership group!!
Asked about the PK and the boost it gave them, his answer was to compliment Carolina's PK and say there are things they need to do better on the PP.
These guys are 100% in the right mindset!!!!
Let's (frank)ing GO!!!!!!!!!! - Tonybere
Really important to win a game when the PP didn’t get one. PP looked good but just couldn’t finish on it
On ice defense/offense is just basically expected goals for an against while on the ice.
I was about to write up that I don't fully agree with HST's outlook on Trouba last night. I personally thought he was great. Especially defensively. What really killed him is that he was om the ice for the goal against be he was the only one actually trying to defend. - blacksheep1
I just think a lot of advanced stats are going to favor the Canes because of their style. The sentiment of “these are tools” is probably to the extreme in this series.
I mean, come on, not a single person could leave that game being upset with the outcome
Seeing Wheeler there going nuts on the glass was great too. A real testament to this team's makeup. This guy hasn't even been here a year, is a long time veteran and is carrying on like a teenager. It shows me that the leadership cared for him and he bought in and cared right back. - climbdenali12
I added that video this am, was amazing to see. Same with him outside the locker room as the team filed off the ice after they win. The room is a really good room.
Boy did Maloney jump Sam’s call on the game winning goal, wow. General consensus is everyone though the two of them fell out of the both they were so happy

Oh I'm not upset at all. Very happy. Just get the win.

I owe Blake Wheeler an apology, I was unfamiliar with his off ice game.

Well, in your defense, the reports coming out of Winnipeg were not exactly glowing about his leadership. Nice to see he's happy being in NY (even if we don't need him)!
I can only hope the rangers get up a few goals and than someone on the team beats the poop out of Tony D. Such a puck. Amazing game, this tea. Is resilient. Unbelievable goal by bread. The win o meter needs to be retired. It’s a bunch of poop too.

It's pretty cool that he is travelling with them even though it is unlikely he will play.
Blake Wheeler was not letting an injury stop him from celebrating.
The Rangers winger, who suffered a right leg injury in mid-February that is likely to keep him out for the rest of the season, is traveling with the team in the postseason and watched Thursday’s overtime from the tunnel leading to the visitor’s dressing room at PNC Arena.
When Artemi Panarin scored to win the game 3-2, the Rangers just so happened to congregate in that corner to celebrate.

Would he even get his name on the cup if they get it? Lol. That would be a kick in his balls

He played 54 games this year. I think the rule used to be 40 games to get the name on the Cup (update: rule is a player is required to have appeared in at least 41 regular-season games with a team, or one Stanley Cup Final game)
We don't nee to talk about Laviolette and Lafreniere. But we do. Because even if nothing else, Laviolette letting Laf take that chance at RW completely changed how this team was able to deploy the depth.

Last year, Gallant never puts Laf in that spot. - blacksheep1
I mean he tried, but had no idea how to make it work and quickly quit on it.
