Strange
Your fans just said they need:
1) puck movers
2) cap space
This achieves both and gets you a good, young, cheap scorer - mr.sir
I doubt Islander fans are going to be as optimistic as you are that Robertson can score 30 easily and Liljegren is as much as a hidden gem as you may think he is. Maybe they're both as you've advertised them, but moving out Pulock leaves a relatively sizeable hole on the right side. Mayfield isn't very good and is injury prone. And while Dobson is excellent on the offensive side of the rink, he still has a lot of work to do in his own end. |

I've got hope for isaiah george, but he's still years away. that would be a huge hole, they probably would have to get a solid almost ready to retire vet to always go back and never pinch zzzzzzzzzzz |

There’s nothing strange how your entire thread blasts lilligren and here you are trying to trade him to us. |

If Liljegren has the upside you are claiming, why are would you want to part with him? What's the catch?

We need a top pair RHD to pair with Rielly
We have for years
Lilly projects as 2nd/3rd pair RHD
We have lots of those
Robertson scores at an elite level with minimal playing time
The real steal in the deal |

Robertson can't see over the crossbar at 5ft 9 inches and is not even list in the starting line. And you are selling Lilly as a projected 2nd/ 3rd pairing. Yet you are asking for arguably our best offensive defenseman and a 3rd pair penalty killing defenseman.
Sign me up....next no thank you. I will counter with a UBS Usher and a beer guy for Marner.

Nicky Bobby had 14G while playing 11 mins per game in the bottom 6 over 56 games
Leafs fans agree he can score, great shot
Better yet, u tell me what a fair deal for Pulock looks like? |

It's a pointless conversation. He has a full NTC and I assume he wanted that in his contract for a reason. The Islanders, for better or for worse, are almost assuredly not tearing it down and Pulock is a big part of the blueline.
I don't think Lou is going to trade one of his best defensemen for a bottom three d-man with a little upside and a guy who's scored well in limited minutes playing behind a high-powered offense. There's zero guarantee you can extrapolate Robertson's production without considering that with a bigger (hypothetical) role on the Islanders he would be facing much tougher defensive matchups than he's getting being sheltered behind Matthews, Nylander, and Marner. |

Love when opposing fans show up to sell their spare parts for what is better or worse a valuable player to us. If you ever visit the Leafs thread you would realize that Lilligren is the subject of unanimous vitriol. I also love when the trade comes across like a sales pitch with the talk track focused around polishing up the sh!t sandwhich they are trying to feed us. Like the proposal is going to have some real life effect. Cracks me up. |

It's like most fantasy sports trades. 99 % of the time it's just a guy trying to build up a player they going to dump to waivers. |

I'm just as guilty. I used to offer Bailey as part of every counter offer.

So many Isles fans did. I'm sure I did at some point(s). Everyone thinks their spare parts stink until they want to make a trade and give up nothing. Fans of every team do it. |

Very understandable Jimmy. Bailey did have chains he could add to a deal.

Yeah sure but when someone tells you no (frank)ing way and your reaction is feigned shock at the rebuke like this guy is when it becomes laughable. 😂 |
