I did state that prior to the series start I thought the refs wouldn't be much of a factor but man gotta eat some crow on that. Then I saw Sutherland slated for game 2 and it was absolutely no shock there was no call for Hughes getting his face cut. All 4 refs huddled and even the linesmans can make those calls and nothing. Even Hrudey and Bieska commented on how that call was missed.

It could get intense from here on out. Will be interesting to see how it's all handled on the ice with the refs/players. Gonna get wild lol just have to careful now about blatant attempts to injure.

If they refs are focused on helping EDM out like people are suggesting, that's a battle you won't win. Start taking their players out and be done with it.

i have seen the refs call both major penalties and double-minors just so they could review video of the play (that they did not see happen)
