I know what you were saying, but there was no obvious Canucks slant last night like there was for the Oilers on Friday. At absolute worst we can call it even, but I hesitate to do even that, because of how horrendous the officiating has been as a whole plus the Soucy suspension.

I did state that prior to the series start I thought the refs wouldn't be much of a factor but man gotta eat some crow on that. Then I saw Sutherland slated for game 2 and it was absolutely no shock there was no call for Hughes getting his face cut. All 4 refs huddled and even the linesmans can make those calls and nothing. Even Hrudey and Bieska commented on how that call was missed.

It could get intense from here on out. Will be interesting to see how it's all handled on the ice with the refs/players. Gonna get wild lol just have to careful now about blatant attempts to injure.

So much gets missed, it’s ridiculous. But then they call all sorts of chintzy crap, humans are so flawed it’s just too much to overcome. This has been going on in the NHL for as long as we’ve been alive. They should be able to go back and look at video on that, but then it would slow the game down.

I can’t ever remember a Canucks team that has been this physical and a big. They are finally doing what a lot of good teams do which is you go after our stars they don’t waste time going after facepunchers instead they go after the stars as well. It was always going to be a suspension and the best thing I think is Hyman not getting anything as now he has to play next game looking for big Z to exact his revenge.
