We are at DEFCON 3 now. If it goes 7, it moves to DEFCON 1

What gives us such cause for concern is how they lost last night. The majority of the lineup didn’t show up to play. I counted 7 odd man rushes in the 1st period alone. It’s almost like they said ok Igor will have to carry us home. If they played last night like they played game 4 we wouldn’t be as pissed. Sometimes like many of you have said on here, you need to tip your cap to the other team. We also have seen this script before with moments with this core group where they have had opportunities to put teams away and they have choked leads away. Being up 1-0 after the 2nd period was a miracle. I thought to myself ok 3rd period home ice. Carolina has had the better of the play. This team is going to come out and bury one early and take over. They were absolutely flat and listless. It’s almost as if they are mentally fragile and the fact they have given up leads in the playoffs it’s starting to resonate itself. Truth is all the pressure is on us and it’s up to this team to change the narrative. Soul searching is an understatement for a lot of these guys. Mika, Panarin, Kreider, Fox, Trouba, Lindgren, Kakko, Laf, Schneider, and Miller. Eyes are on all of you to step up. These young kids have had enough playoff experience to know what needs to be done. Period the end.

One thing we have on our side is in 2022 we won a game 7 down there. Dominated that game if I recall, 5-2 I think it was. Im pretty sure we were winning 4-0 on a Chytil goal

The two days off probably benefits us over them. Allows us to reset a bit. I’d wanna play tonight if I were the canes

Edit: 6-2 final and Chytil goal made it 5-1 and sealed it

That 2022 team didn't have near the strength this team does.

This Ranger team is stronger also, just that the players havent shown up the last 2 games, extra day off will work in our favor. Road teams have won more than 60 percent of the games these playoffs.

Every time I see ratings conversations I think of all the people who don’t like hockey, or watch it, and think to my self what they are missing out on. There is nothing better than a playoff hockey game. Not a damn thing.

Even my wife is "enjoying" playoff hockey. No way in hell would she watch the regular season, but she likes the intensity of the playoffs.

So Florida couldn’t close out Boston at home in 5 either. You think their fans are jumping off the cliff too lol

I didn’t watch the BOS-FLA game, but bet the Panthers gave a better effort than the Rangers did. For me it’s not that the rangers lost, it’s the overall effort that got me. Still optimistic though.

Florida has dominated the series for the most part. This series have been coin flips, tightly contested games decided by late goals. The effort level was unacceptable for the situation and taking a night off could prove to be costly. How many times, year after year, have we said this about effort in critical games?

I thought igor played very good in game 5, but we need him to will us to victory in game 6. Henrik had that next gear where you felt if you scored 1 it was over. We need that from igor Thursday

Good morning boys. The two day break comes at a perfect time. Hopefully allows the team to reset and recalibrate and get their minds right. Coaches need to work on countering what Carolina is doing while short handed.

All 12 of them probably are

In all seriousness, Im with you TPC. I have faith in this group. I never thought we were going to breeze through the first two rounds. And after the first 7 games of great hockey, I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt going into tomorrow. I', confident Lavi will have the guys ready from puck drop. I'm predicting a 4-2 win with CK20, Bread, and Fox all scoring.

Lets fucking go Rangers

I agree. I honestly feel like whoever wins this series, ends up in the cup finals.
