How about replacing American pos lawyers with hockey people? Americans leading major pro sports leagues as commissioners put bandages & bs rules in place for lack of hockey experience or knowledge. All about the bottom line & rarely about the purity of the sport. - Nighthawk
Money and greed have ruined all sports The only ones who suffer are the fans who attend games $15+ for a freakin beer Parking is outrageous and the ticket prices are absurd Sooner or later the bubble is going to burst OH wait people are too stupid to know that they are being snookered |

I think the league needs to be more proactive in correcting course here. After the mic'd bias, game management, and far too inconsistent reffing, Bettman should not be burying his head in the sand and ignoring things.
Starters figure out the rulebook and call it. Thats it. No game management etc. no two different rules regular and playoffs.
Refs should have offseason training same as players. And should be held accountable. Put back the interview by pool reporter and name on backs of the jersey. And for love of god if a ref in the offseason openly has a bias on a team deal with that ref.
Clean it the hell up.
And get rid of all this betting stuff. |

I wonder if Ek has ever been in the "Situation Room"? Like as an observer? He was on the ice for 8 or 9 Cup celebrations so maybe has connections to see the situation room and see how they operate. - Cooleus
Never been in the room, but has connections in there I bet! |

Interesting. Stewart chose to remain silent until his Bruins got screwed over by the referees.
Marchand has acted like an idiot for the last decade and he gets dummied by Bennett in a very “Marchandlike” play and Bruins fans go nuts.
Priceless |

Relocate to Myanmar. Teach a dozen monks the rules of hockey and let them make the calls.
It's the only reasonable solution. |

They can wheel out a cart with energy bars, popcorn, pizza and hot dogs if they have to wait for the monks to finish meditating, chanting or working in the garden.

Imagine a a player of a team gets injured during a playoff game and fans get upset about it. Fans are typically well adjusted and rational. Must be specifically a Boston Bruins thing.
You (frank)ing loser.
