That is all you have is age ??

A dumb ignorant racial fuck such as yourself can do better than that, no?

- VANTEL

I actually put the part that you’re ignoring in addition to mentioning perhaps you picked up son around the home. And you keep putting 2+2=4, which is cute but irrelevant. So anyway, what’s your thoughts on wurthers original? Also, what’s a racial (frank)? Sounds kinky

Neither one of these teams is getting by Dallas.

Speak for yourselves. We have been the best team in the NHL since Knoblauch took over and our 8 and 16 game win streaks were no fluke.

When the Oil are clicking we can beat any team in the NHL. Best believe we're favorites.

It's only 2-2, I said from the very beginning that this series was going to go 7, and home ice matters even if people don't think so. Look at the Boston-Toronto series. If that game 7 was in Toronto, maybe they manage to win it finally.

1st place was no fluke sweeping a flawed team. Ya sure the Oil are the only team when clicking can beat any team. Faves in your dreams.

There is obviously something wrong with petey, a talented player doesn’t fall off the map all of a sudden.

Quotes from Petey on Sportsnet article:

“I want to play my best hockey every game. I mean, just going through a little adversity. I'm trying to play well (but) it's not going my way. And then at the end of the day, what can I do? Just try to play the next game better. I can't dwell on bad games or not my best performance previous games.”

"I can only focus on what I can do. And obviously, I want to be better. I want to be the difference-maker. It hasn't gone, obviously, the way I want it to be. But at the end of the day, I can't dwell on it too much. We have a game tomorrow, I'm going to try to do my best, and that's where my head's at."

Doesn't sound like he's injured or anything.

No I didn’t miss that quote & I’m not arguing it.We had the best record & one point & that means squat.

Hence commenting on paragraph 2.

Boeser turned it around. Miller turned it around. Hughes turned it around. Demko turned it around. Garland turned it around.

If fans had their way. All these guys would have been replaced. Instead patience has paid off. Instead it's was rinse and repeat when another core player struggles.

Funny meme. A classic template. Truthfully, RT has stated he doesnt have a problem with Petey's system play(in other words). He talks about him not moving his feet mostly and that is a serious problem right now...clearly. Any talk of him not playing physical etc is unwarranted as well. For a toothpick, he throws his body at players often and takes a lot of hits as well. He's a dedicated shot blocker on top of that. He's just playing like unfocussed sh!t on the rush, cycle, PP etc..

If he was playing as bad in the D zone as he is in the O zone, you would never see him killing penalties or a go to forward when the opposition pulls the goalie. RT relies on him in those situations.

- boonerbuck

While I agree for the most part I think Tocchet is getting frustrated with Petey's lack of production hence calling him out in the presser. I think Hogs gets back in next game and maybe him and Petey can finally generate some O.

RT doesn’t throw his players under the bus. Frustrated is a mild way of saying not impressed & it didn’t happen overnight.

I said earlier I liked the spark Petey had in the latter part of the 3rd. A good stepping stone to getting untracked. A good sign more is to come in a best of 3 series. Oilers beware.

Of course he's frustrated. But is it really calling someone out when you are actually answering a question asked by the media and you don't single him out... instead point out that there was 6 or 7 players who crapped the bed in the game? No... but that "call out" narrative was inevitable.

Well yes Hronek, Suter Mik and a few others need to step up as well. But it was also interesting to see Pettersson's response and body language today. He knows he needs to be better and its the time to bring it.

Honestly if someone would have told me that Brock would be the star of the first two series and Pettersson invisible I would have laughed my ass off lol

10 years to construct a good roster after you got a lucky bounce of the lottery balls and look at it, playing 30 minutes a night isn’t a recipe to go 4 rounds in the playoffs.

Old news. This has been going on for a couple of months now with him. It's no revelation. To be honest, I think we won't see his game come back until he has the summer off to deal with his mental state. Reminds me of Boeser while he was going through his emotional issues.

Let me know when the "best record since Knobgobbler took over" banner gets raised. I'll watch that game.
