Garland Lindholm Joshua have been a very good second line. - VANTEL
An excellent 2nd line.
Zadorov, Lindholm & Joshua are the priority signings this summer. |

“You can’t win if you have 5, 6 or 7 passengers,” says Rick Tocchet.
“It’s playoff hockey. One of those guys can be the hero for us next game, but they’ve got to step it up.” #Canucks

Who are the 5-6-7 guys, Pettersson, Hronek, Lafferty, Hoglander, Mikhayev, Blueger? - Pacificgem
Warriors & unsung heroes win a series. Who do we have? None yet.
Z has been great. Hronek 👎 Brock carrying the scoring. Hughes getting punished but no help from FH. Still is a gamer. |

I said it a few nights ago he skates like he sh1t his pants. I also said right from the start this contract is going to get ugly. I had some good arguments on here that the contract would be bad in a couple of years but it might only take a couple of months.
He had a hell of a first half but was on pace for sixty points in the second half. I really doubt Guentzel is coming here so the team better have a Plan B and C.
Trade Hronek also. - VANTEL
I had Petey a mil less. Still stand by that & idc what he does in the future. |

How big of a sample is needed before Petey doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt? Is he killing it on the PP? He’s had time on the 6-40-9 line. Didn’t mesh with Lindholm.
If I saw a warrior mentality out there & him in the play more I’d be ok but that’s not the case. He’s been lost for months.
For how ineffective Petey’s line has been with whatever wingers would it hurt to try Leki? What is there to lose? Pod in same thing? - Nighthawk
How long of a sample size until I panic and think we should sell low on pettersson? Probably a couple years tbh.
Boeser turned it around. So can Petey.
I’d bring in 2-3 other players before Lekki. I think it’s pretty ambitious to ask a skinny kid that’s never played an NHL game to be a saviour in the playoffs vs men.

I also think that's a move you make if you're down 3-0 or 3-1 rather than 2-2. At that point you have little to lose and everything to gain. Plus like you said, there's others that you could bring in that have more experience than Lekki does. Not to mention that he's still getting used to NHL sized ice and won't have the space and time he did in the SEL. |

Yes & no. I just don’t buy into paying forward. Regular season points only count for so much. He said he wanted to be on a winning team & here we are 2-2 & he’s a non factor. He should come out say I suck & gotta back it up & bring it like I can. It’s me no excuses. He wears an A for a reason so earn it. |

It appears sell low but you don’t trade for sake of a trade. Yes I’m premature but just disappointed in him. PA won’t give up on him whether I overreact or not. It’s only 2-2 & Petey started to show good signs later in the game. Come out next game & forget the past. Reset with massive desire to be a stand out. |

On Leki it is a huge reach it’s a reaction that Petey needs better wingers. Yes 2-2 & not good timing. If down 2-3 is it worth a look? |

To go away from my ranting the boys have been a revelation all season & in these PO’s. No quit playing to the end. D has been remade & needs to be kept together best as possible. It’s been a very fun year & easy for me to forget it I simply can see there is more to give win or lose. |

RT has said more than once Petey move his feet. It’s fine he turns & shields the puck but he’s not moving & loses the puck. That has nothing to do with his wingers. Play dies on his stick being easily checked. His passing is sub par & on him nobody else. He or they paint him into a corner & he hasn’t had any answers. Skate & play faster then worry about linemates etc. more urgency is needed. On the forecheck rather see him the F3 & use his anticipation. Wingers with speed muck it & dig in. |

It's only 2-2, I said from the very beginning that this series was going to go 7, and home ice matters even if people don't think so. Look at the Boston-Toronto series. If that game 7 was in Toronto, maybe they manage to win it finally. |

It was just a little before that (Lindholm trade) but yeah. I know there was one Frenchman on here hoping that the trade to Carolina was going to happen but we don't always get what we wish for.
I think anyone calling him our best forward IMO is nuts. He wouldn't even be the best forward or second best forward on the 6 40 9 line.
Like I said I don't like his skating. It seems like every battle he gets in he ends up on his ass, and now his shot has vanished. |

True, although Joshua is more of a bottom six guy. Maybe he just needs opportunity. |

Everyone is talking, panicking, about extremely small sample sizes, it’s kinda comical. Joshua did have 18 goals this year and he’s having a decent post season, it’s his birthday today, 28 years old. After Tocchet called him out for being out of shape maybe he’s going to turn into a decent player with more commitment. |

I don't think it is panicking. I know some are angry.
Honestly, I think next year go with the Lotto line as the top line, the Lindholm Garland Joshua as the second line, third line Hog Suter Likker, and then a shut down line Pod Blueger and ???.
Trade Hronek.

I had 6 or 7 either way before the series started. Long ways yet to go. Oilers cannot play much better where we can play way better. Who wants it more will win it. I don’t put it on refs or luck. Gonna be an epic game 5. |
