Oilers are in cup or bust, we are there for the experience you have to lose before you win, this isn’t over yet let’s see what we got. This team doesn’t quit.

Playing with house money but the Canucks don’t see it that way. Oilers under all of the pressure & a low margin of error. This series is a toss up.

👍 would be another wrinkle to their offense if he gets added in. He’s played against men. Getting more (and more dangerous) shots against Pickard is needed. Hell maybe some of his Swedish mojo will rub back off on Petey
- NewYorkNuck

Speed & finesse & let’s it rip but will he be a liability. Big ask. Cannot get into his head but if he’s hungry & has the swagger to work hard cannot see much downside. Like any player in the PO’s no time & space & play smart & win the battles.

Ya I’m not optimistic about it but if Tocc does his research and they practice with him and he thinks the kid is good to go… would be an interesting swing!

Not sure if anyone else read this article, but it does a good job showing how the Canucks are playing D against the Oilers and why the lopsided zone time and shot amounts aren’t really indicative of dominance:

An excellent 2nd line.
Zadorov, Lindholm & Joshua are the priority signings this summer.

- Marwood

According to people on here, that is correct. In reality, we shall see.

The PP is all that separates the series. Oilers are a 1 trick pony against good teams & I’ve no clue why they are cup favourites.

I doubt they are now, I picked a Dallas vs NYR final. Looking pretty good right now.

Apparently there's some dude out there who has an impeccable record of picking Stanley cup finals over the last couple decades and Canucks winning over Boston was his pick this year

Thanks for sharing, I never look at Sportsnet or TSN, so I wouldn’t have seen it. They’re usually focused on what the Leafs will do this off-season or how the Blue Jays are failing, all the while the Stanley Cup playoffs are on.

Boston has no talent, except Pastrnak, they’re an overachieving lunch bucket group with outstanding goaltending. You can’t win without a first line center, they barely have anyone who’d be classified as a second line center.

IMO as I said if Canucks had Guentzel we win the cup. If Petey wakes up and provides scoring then we win.

I know you are not the smartest person on here but two wins would make 4

2+2=4

No one is talking Florida except you. Canucks and Boston both have two wins.

Every game Canucks have lost it has been by one goal. If Petey starts earning his paycheck Canucks win. Maybe RT's words to light a fire under his ass sink in then it changes everything.

Just watched Petey's presser from earlier today and holy does the guy look defeated. Seems like he could be sick or clinically depressed honestly. Just a shame given how positive this season has been as a whole.

If he just shows more life it helps. He’s had good match ups all in all.
Only needs a spark & showed some in the 3rd period & should boost his confidence. Quicker decisions less dancing making his wingers go play fetch.
