Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko appears to have made significant progress on his recovery and could perhaps return to action in this playoff series against the Edmonton Oilers |

I’m not as optimistic either. Time to call out all the losers pumping Petey’s tires & making excuses & fine with 11.6m. Dummies defend regular season stats then double down with more excuses. - Nighthawk
Noticed last night you were starting the witch hunting all over again. It was subtle but you didnt get the responses you were looking for so today you have stepped it up.

I don't see what difference it makes at this point. Would Demko be doing any better than Silovs has? Maybe I'm crazy but I think even if he gets healthy they have to run Silovs through the rest of this series |

I know you are not the smartest person on here but two wins would make 4

No one is talking Florida except you. Canucks and Boston both have two wins. - VANTEL
Oh, but see boston is one win away from elimination, there's a big difference. Maybe when you're older youll understand. |

Thx but I did find it. I don’t think it’s about trying & more about taking what is or isn’t given. Oil are making zones entries hard & without speed & quicker crisp clean passing it’s not been easy. A lil too sloppy. We don’t have many players to break into the zone on a regular basis. Chip & Chase or better dump ins if the forecheck is on the fly. It’s gritty hockey & puck battles. Line units gotta be in sync. Nobody can be a passenger or break downs happen. |

I dunno.
Silovs has been great, but Demko is on another level and could give the team even more confidence to play their game. |

Do the math, son. Also you don't get eliminated in the NHL if you win. You mean to say they are one loss away from elimination. |

I don’t hunt for hits but in that moment my frustrations went back at the fans. Don’t read anything more into it. How about telling your side of the Petey story ok. |

11 mil for a third line player. Not one of PAs better signings. - VANTEL
Well finally someone(you) had the balls to point at the people who pressured Petey to sign that contract days before the TDL. Unlike NH who never shuts up about it but refuses to criticized management who were told by Petey he was going to wait until summer. Instead they served him a ultimatum to sign the 11.6m contract immediately or they were going to explore trades. If they waited until summer like Petey wanted, he would be in a terrible position to demand that kind of money. Now they are in a situation that is entirely their own doing.
They forced this contract. They should be taking the scrutiny. Petey was playing poorly before so it's not like he quit after getting paid.

Heh meathead instead of blabbering on thinking you’re judge & jury make your own statement instead of your petty comebacks.
Of course all sides brokered the contract so effin what it has nothing to do with his on ice play. 10.5m or 11.6m he has sucked. No?
Off your rocker that pressure to sign for 11.6m is the issue. Oh to feel the pressure to get 92.8m must be horrible. Send him a card with your condolences.

“You can’t win if you have 5, 6 or 7 passengers,” says Rick Tocchet.
“It’s playoff hockey. One of those guys can be the hero for us next game, but they’ve got to step it up.” #Canucks

Who are the 5-6-7 guys, Pettersson, Hronek, Lafferty, Hoglander, Mikhayev, Blueger? - Pacificgem
Definitely Miller last night. Played worse than Petey. The first 6 min of PP the Canucks had, Miller was the Oilers best Pker. Kept giving the puck away along the boards or just wasting time with it. Later in the game he had that brutal give away that had Silovs race half way up the zone in a puck race to prevent the break away. This is why Miller texted RT to apologize for his horrible play last night.
That was the only game in the playoffs that Miller played poorly imo. So I get why people are not b!tching about it but people not at least acknowledging it makes me wonder just what kind of tunnel vision is in play. Just want to focus it all towards one player I guess. Same old...

Garland Lindholm Joshua have been a very good second line. - VANTEL
But Garland Blueger Joshua were also a very good line, arguably the best 3rd line in the league... consistent for months. Lindholm there is redundant and they need help in the top 6. They said they were focused on bringing in top 6 help... then repeated it when they acquired Lindholm.... and he got not much more than a look in the top 6 before being a permanent fixture on a line that didnt need him after the injured player he was filling in for returned.
There's more to look at than simply "Petey playing poor and getting a big contract next season".

How long of a sample size until I panic and think we should sell low on pettersson? Probably a couple years tbh.
Boeser turned it around. So can Petey.
I’d bring in 2-3 other players before Lekki. I think it’s pretty ambitious to ask a skinny kid that’s never played an NHL game to be a saviour in the playoffs vs men. - dbot
Boeser turned it around. Miller turned it around. Hughes turned it around. Demko turned it around. Garland turned it around.
If fans had their way. All these guys would have been replaced. Instead patience has paid off. So why rinse and repeat when another core player struggles?

Hogz has to get back in even if it's on the 4rth line. All season long he has responded immediately after being scratched, benched or demoted. One game out was enough. can't imagine why Karlsson got a 2nd game over him. |

Watching nurse and ceci out there makes me giggle, they have no choice is the definition of insanity, zero depth, this team is franked with holland in charge I hope they keep him. |

You are literally quoting a post where I did just that. What a burn out you are.
Here's what a fkn idiot you are... you bark about his contract having nothing to do with his on ice play but over and over all day every day you bring his upcoming contract into it. Just stfu...

I hope so. I know he shut down McCryCry in a couple of games. That's huge... but they need him to contribute offense and not squander the PP as well...
