Don't forget Strbak. Kid had a sweet WJC. Underwhelming in Michigan (from a stat standpoint) but could be due to the fact they were stacked on defense.

I dk why, but I usually don't get too hyped over mid to late round guys until they arrive. From Bryson to Laaksonen, I'm tired of hearing guys are sure fire NHLers only to see them fall off the proverbial cliff once they meet higher levels of competition. I really liked Bryson too.

Bryson never intrigued me. 5'9, meh production in college.
Laak's had my attention, I thought he was going to be a solid first pass D-man, put up some decent #'s in Finland and then made a nice jump when he came to Roch his first year. Never built off it though.

No argument, but the way to stop the nonsense is to suspend these guys when they pull this poop. I understand they want to put the whistles away in the playoffs, but they're bastardizing the game by not enforcing the rule book. Need some level setting.

Yeah, that's why I said a penalty or suspension earlier. At most it's a game. But a penalty that results in injury can heighten the probability of the latter outcome. If he doesn't have an issue though, you're right, 2 minute rough.
