What was his injury?

...just so we know where to watch every time he gets hit.

- Tonybere

They just called it "Lower Body" but most agreed it was an ankle.

I hope Pesce plays Way harder to come in as a dman then fwd in PO. Saw it with the caps and jensesn/sandin. Pesce way better but their timing was off big time

I hope he tweaks it in warm ups and they go with Tony D-bag, then he gets blown up by Trouba and THEN they have to go with 5 Dmen!!

I am hopeful that they can regain their form.

I don't know how anyone can be hyped about tonight after game 5. They did a no show and played like they didn't care. I want to be wrong about them. I know they have the skill and talent to do it, they just need to show that they have the will to do whatever it takes.

I can handle them losing to a team that played better if effort is present. I can't handle losing when they show zero pushback.

There is no other way about it, they need to play tonight like there is no tomorrow if they lose. If they lose in a similar fashion to game 5, there is little chance they have the mental fortitude to turn it around in a game 7.

Lose the series, fine. Don't lose it after being up 3-0 and then playing 3-4 straight games with no urgency.

This might be the most defining game for this core so far. A championship team goes in and wins this game. They have to actually show up dictate play and play their style. Reputations are on the line tonight

So pumped for this game. We get our first chance to see what this team is really made of under Lavy. Play with some desperation and I like our chances

Carolina was playing for their lives in the 3rd. I know we didn’t like the effort but you can’t create or fake desperation. Rangers didn’t need to play with it yet. Tonight is the first time it will creep in. Why I am excited to see what they have

Amazing all these teams on home ice with ability to clinch in 5 fail. Shows how close these teams are. My prediction is Rangers lose 3-2 tonite but win game 7 late in 1st OT on a Kakko goal. They will run as through the ringer the next few days

Collapses seem pretty common on John Tavares led teams.

That's how it feels to me. The Rangers have been an integral part of my life since the mid 90's. All of us have been through a lot with this team.

You look back at the Rangers in 1994 and they went through plenty of adversity themselves. But I am too young to remember if they had no shows in the conference finals and finals. I know they flew through the first 2 rounds.

I just thought they were all hard fought games, I am likely wrong though.

Jimmy, any insight?

1994 ECF vs the Devils, games 4 and 5 were as bad as any games they have ever played the last 100 years

I don’t get all the negative energy. Rangers are one game away from the ECF and have 2 chances to get it done. Time to rock
