There's other reports where they're negotiating some kinda buyout or settlement.

Not to be overly stereotypical but a duffel bag full of cash and kissing the right ass probably resolves the issue.

Zawaski has always been close to a super fan caricature but decent fellow. Used to listen to him on the score.

Boysen is a blow hard I could do without and he's mostly yelling at people in the chat. (the feller in the middle you didn't care for)

Not sure how Tirabassi got the job other than he's just been around for a while. One of those "hockey guys" that doesn't add a whole lot to the discussion. (guy on the right)

They're mostly pushing platitudes. There aren't a lot of in-depth or tactical breakdowns. Mainly regurgitating Powers and others information. And lots of Jones is a no 1 defenseman because he plays the most minutes justification as well. No real analysis on other metrics or break downs of actual plays to say "this is why" which irritates me to no end.

Though that is more of a hockey problem in general - long winded way of saying they don't bring a whole lot to the table compared to the other outlets. Other than some abrasive (Boysen) and condescending (Boysen and Tirabassi) personalities.

I prefer the faxes from uncle dale guys. They're at least self admitted bumholes and don't take themselves as seriously. Laz and Powers are just much better writers and journalists.

I used to like the committed indian guys,but even when the Blackhawks were good they'd crap all over Q or whatever b.s. popped in their heads,and I grew kind of sick of it. I listen to their podcast here and there. For whatever reason they think the Bears can do no wrong(even though they have sucked forever). I do like that they don't appreciate a 12 year Blackhawks rebuild etc...they seem to be fans of Luke and in general their hockey banter is pretty good.

I didn't see any of those about Demidov, saw the ones about Michkov.
I'm not 100% sure,but I think the player has to buy out the contract himself, the Blackhawks can't just fill a hefty bag with a bunch of singles and hand it over to SKA.
I guess it also depends on how much $ Demidov would owe for his final year in the KHL/VHL/MHL

Maybe someone could confirm this rumor. Maro rossi possibly be on the trade market from the Minnesota wild.? Is so would the 20th Tampa's and the 54th get it done? I know he is a small player and the Hawks have enough of those type of players.

Not overtly no. I'm pretty sure there are back channels that can be used to grease the palms of those that need to sign off on it.

KD may want to speak to the Flyers. You don't think the boys at the KHL let Michkov out of his contract because they were being nice do you?

This is all about asset management...sending orc playing Phillips.

I’m thinking that Phillips is as good as gone. Although he doesn’t have a lot of trade value, he’s athletic with size, so basically a nice dart for the acquiring team in a packaged deal. #20, 3rd rd pick, and Phillips for? Move up in draft or trade for a real good young forward.
