Leafs need to trade Marner and a top 4 defenseman, preferably a right shot defender needs to come back. I'm also thinking that it might be time for Morgan Rielly to move on, as well. I can live with a left handed defense contingent of McCabe, Edmunston and Benoit. If Edmunston doesn't want to sign a team friendly contract, go after Nikita Zedorov and plug him in at LD2. Do a complete overhaul of the right side of the defense.

Completely agree. Reilly is a nice guy and dedicated but we aren’t in the business of nice, not for $7.5mil. Just don’t think it makes sense to pay a guy that much to be a number 2 or 3. I think the Leafs were 40 games into the season and Reilly had two penalty minutes. Zadorov would be great at a good price, and I think Edmonson had the other team looking over their should all the time…..there just isn’t a stat for that.

It is a complex story. A lot is going on. I am not sure people not familiar with the story ahead of time would enjoy it all that much.

If you hate the Lynch adaptation, then you probably won't like the new ones either. The new ones are just as weird, just with updated visual effects and newer "hotter" actors.

The new movies grew on me. It took me a while, but once I got past the initial resistance to the casting choices, it got a lot better.

But yeah, don't expect your wife or girl to like it. You can lure them into watching it because of pretty boy Chalamet, but they will be bored to tears and just humoring you.

My wife loved it. Again, the scale and filmaking are just too good to dismiss it. Denis is one of the best working. Remember watching Incendies back in the day and being impressed, never imagined he would go on to be the best big budget sci-fi director of his generation.
