What I am hearing is that management will be ruthless with player contracts.

I don’t think they will back away from any trade they think will improve the team.

They trade away mistakes with impunity. They are confident in their pro scouting on finding and developing players as well.

Just as Boeser emerges as a 40 goal guy and a PO performer over Petey now we have his injury status to deal with next year. Questions around Demko and Boeser for sure. Plus wingers for Pettersson. Even though it was a great season much work to do and many holes to fill...kind of like the video room in Chicago.

Canucks might be, a one and done, for playoffs; if, they can’t keep or improve on players for next season.

Lindy wants to get paid. Top UFA center come July. Canucks will ask how much and either make it happen or move on is what’s being reported. The other free agents they are saying Canucks will give their highest number take it or leave it.
