Spoiler alert: Kman do not open

- VANTEL

He basically said the same in Calgary last year. How he loved Calgary and wanted to finish his career there, then he didn’t make the top 4 and no one talked to him about a new contract. He pouted his way out of town, glad he’s happy in Vancouver, never wanted to see him leave. He’s had a short shelf life everywhere he’s played, hopefully he can find peace in mediocrity with the Canucks.

Man, Petey can't win, if he gets shut down because of a mostly playable injury, people would complain that he could've played or should have been traded at the TDL. If he plays, and has mobility issues that makes it that much harder for him to do the things that makes him who he is, then the team should have put him on LTIR...

I have tendonitis in my knees myself and it makes life absolutely miserable for me, but I can mostly do everything I normally do with some caveats. I can't run anymore or walk for long periods of time or climb stairs without taking care and doing it slowly. I can't imagine how it would affect someone around half my age who is a high performance athlete and has to deal with hard contact on top of it.

Petey in his own words today said the injury just needs time to heal. He should have been given that time.

I’ve an arthritic right knee not nearly the same as tendonitis. Some discomfort dependent on what I’m doing at the time but no big deal. Anti-inflammatory works great & it passes. Athletes can recover & heal faster like myself in my prime. Aging is when it becomes more prevalent & harder to overcome. Rest will help him fine.

Until you deal with chronic pain, don't speak on it, you just make yourself look even stupider.

I deal with chronic pain every day. I’m just not soft. Grow some balls

A 2C expensive get in a trade best to resign Lindholm. UFA C is another route but who & how much? I think PA will look for more cheap bottom 6’s to have cap for more expensive needs. Other ways to gain cap space will be explored.
- Nighthawk

I would like Canucks to take a look at UFA Chandler Stephenson 3C if they intend to build around Petey as the 2C

They sat out Lindholm and other key players. Petey had not been producing since Feb.

I forget the football team, but there was a very good QB that was a star player for the team and the team pushed him to play injured for the POs and it basically ruined his career. Short term thinking with star players can be very costly.

Petey said today hearing all the sh1t comments about himself took a toll.

Perhaps petey should not listen to the media and avoid twitter. He has a mental problem primarily not a physical one

They should have taken better care of themselves when they were younger. Classic case of thinking you’re invincible when you’re younger. Glad you’re in good shape like myself.

I’ve had him on my radar for months. Just not certain what his price range ask is. Plan B if EL is a no go. Also means Bleuger isn’t back & no top 6 winger unless Leki forces his way onto the roster.

No it’s from ball & pitching loading up on my right knee. Accumulative..

I get around just fine just a lil slower lol. It’s my Dlckdo from less activity that is a challenge getting back into golf that bothers me. My swing is more around the world than I would like. Need to drop 6-10 pounds of blubber 🤣

There's no arguing with people who want to go out of their way to assume the worst of him, it's all about reinforcing biases rather than taking a logical look at anything.
