Heck of a season was a real treat watching each game and through playoffs. Such a refreshing ride.

Post mortem it’s still a disappointment. This team blew two chances to advance.

No matter what happens in the off season opportunities don’t always come around. Canucks could just as easily miss the playoffs next season.
They had a lot of things go right from health and players performing above career levels. Coach RT instilled a work ethic but it’s not always enough.

We shall see where they stand when the dust settles after free agency and draft. Trades and signings will reshape the team again.

Well it’s too bad the Canucks didn’t play the whole game like they did the last part of the 3rd. Funny how that works, could have been a total different outcome.
Edmontons bottom 6 looked a lot better once they took Perry out of the lineup, seems Vancouver didn’t have an answer for that. Zadorov must have sustained an injury of some sort, he wasn’t the same the last 2 games. Great series, too bad the oilers won. I’ll be cheering for Dallas the rest of the way cause if they make the Stanley Cup Finals, my Flames get an extra 2nd round pick.

No, he's too good to ship away, the trade market for goalies sucks. I doubt you'd get much for him until he plays again anyway.

Not at all. Keep two solid goalies. You'll be doing the team a disservice to trade one – you're not going to get a return that's better than the goalie at that position. And if they one you've kept goes down, you've (frank)ed yourself

I wonder if the bigger heavier bodies of the Nashville, then Oilers series wore down the much smaller Canucks team. Hughes and Hronek on defense, are small/light, Pouty, Higlander, Garland, Aman,Blueger, Suter up front, are all fairly small/light players.
The Canucks need to get bigger bodies, both up front and on defense, where you can have only 1 lightweight.
Also, a few more Canadians.
