They do? Provide link please...

Seems like Career rebounding has been a failure here lol

All good FA's want raises that's the common ground.

Do you own a shuffleboard? You could play games with little team names on the rocks...

I’d say they maybe would be more interested after this year imo

Yup. Heading to Boston.

He’s going where ever the Flames trade Marky to. Best buddies, wives are friends as well. Alvin just has to make a deal for Markstrom.

On Zadorov, he wants to be a top 4, he’s not signing a team friendly deal. Hes a god in Vancouver fans eyes, and should be paid like one.

Fans want Myers gone, yet he played an important role for the Canucks this playoffs. The coaching of Foote has really impacted his game. He’s going to get paid, 4-5 mil on a 4 year deal.

Alvin says he needs to find a new cheaper Joshua D. Lomberg is a UFA and would be a cheaper version. Anyone that hasn’t seen him play needs to watch the Panthers play tonight.

Milky is going to cost a high draft pick to get rid of, Canucks can’t afford to give up another. The farm is low on prospects, it needs to be restocked.

Someone suggested Woo as a replacement on the Canucks next year. I guess they haven’t watched him play. The guy is a permanent minor leaguer, never had a call up to the big club

They're going to have to graduate players to the NHL, both at the beginning of the season and later in the season if they want a chance in the playoffs.

I would trade Hronek if the return is right or offer him a short term deal to fill the gap while DPetey and Willander develop .

Zad I would offer a long term deal . As long as his skating doesn't fall off the face of the earth his skillset brings value even at an advanced age.

Mikheyev I would move on from if possible, but I wouldn't use assets to do it nor retain much money. ACL injury's take time to come back from, he's probably at his lowest in value.

I would trade Garland, his value is rather high and his cap hit is as well. I like his energy some games but he's still undersized for the playoff grind.

Tampa looking to unload Tanner Jeanot for capspace, 2.6 mil, 1 year left on his contract. He was a good player in Nashville but has sucked with the Lightning. He could be a cheaper DJ as well.
Friedman saying the Flames could be interested, but that means squat.

Jeannot or Sammy Blais works for me, just don't want to see them giving up more picks acquiring Jeannot

Agree about Zadorov & Garland. If they can move Mikheyev without it costing a pick or retention, great. If not, they're stuck with an expensive 3rd liner who is fast with stone hands.

So a couple years ago, we had 3 good Cs and traded Horvat for Hronek essentially. Because we needed a top 2 RHD.

Signed Kuzmenko outta Russia and he was great for a minute. Then we traded Kuz (top 6 winger) for another C in Lindholm, because we were lacking depth there.

Now we’re talking about trading Hronek for a top 6 winger from the Canes, which would put us back to not having a top D pair…How the turn tables as they say.

Buyout Mikheyev.
Trade Garland.
Resign Hronek and Zadorov.
Lowball Myers and Lindholm.
Joshua will walk.
Bring up some kids to fill in: Podkolzin, Ratu, Likerimaki.

Sign players with speed! Which excludes Tofolli.
Oh. And hire a competent PP and now PK coach.

Oil win game 4. Book it.
- Oildrum

I think a lot of non oiler fans hoping for the oilers to bring the cup to Canada are sick of this team whining about everything and arguing every call, did you see the look nurse gave the camera after that obvious trip 😆

Tkachuk> than Petey maybe not points wise but definitely player wise. Not getting Sanderson as well unless you’re wiling to part with Willander and a 1st

That's not the whole story, cap hits play a large part of it.

I'd say our top 2 prospects are a little ways away although they'll fill significant holes. You could argue that had they kept their 1st round picks we'd have entry level players that were impactful, but would be without JT.

Exactly, and I'd bet B Tchchuk would have shown up vs the Oilers

Yeah it is another issue management knew was coming. Cap and multiple raises on player contracts have allocation considerations. Going to be interesting how they will be able to improve top 6 and keep the D.

Well hopefully the prospects in Pods and Lik and Linus are ready to step up. We have other issues other than the D like how Mikheyev and Lafferty were no shows for most of the last half of the season. Petey needs a winger or should be a winger lol. Much to do in the off-season.

Utah could really make some noise. Lindholm, Markstrom, Toffoli, Montour…….. lots of options moving forward.
