Don’t see them agreeing on the money. Term won’t be the issue. Imo he thinks too highly of himself & the playoffs prove that he isn’t a true top pair D yet. Yes his 1st playoffs & a great 1st 1/2 of a season but not enough to hold all the cards.

Getting Necas imo means Hronek is traded in maybe a 3-way. Not so sure the Canes need more D if they just wanna & can resign their own.

Lindholm not resigned saves a ton of cap room just don’t like the cost to get him if he becomes a rental. He upped his game as time went by & prefer we resign him if at at a fair price. 6/7m or 7/6.5m

The need for ELC’s to make the team is a big factor but still wishful thinking.

Joshua came from the AHL. He was a STL prospect and Canucks got to see him play quite a bit when they joined together with STL during the covid year with the same AHL franchise. There are some good AHL prospects of very good value. CGY are great at finding these types of players. Some very good grit in that league and cheap. Canucks have not had too much success bringing in those types of players.
