Frank UPL for not making one extra save two years ago so we could get swept by Boston in the playoffs just so we could never hear about the drought again.

You seem to believe that a team of young players when they "get in" will have a high chance of running the gauntlet, so it doesn't matter if they don't get in previously and learn the difference between the two types of seasons. That doesn't happen often, if at all frankly.
Teams normally have to get in and experience it a time or two...with adjustments made along the way before they are a deep threat.
Missing the Playoffs eliminates that process, that experience from happening.
Get in first, win a round..THAT is what helps |

Got a question for you SoCal ? Do you have to pay for Bread in Italian Restaurants out in Cali. Don't go to many cause you get used to Certain things. Well met some friends at a place called Aroma. They wanted 9 dollars for a Bread Tray! I was shocked or stupid cause it's been so long since I went to a Italian restaurant I didn't expect it. |

The drought has literally drained 90% of this fanbase of any sense of rationality, if they had any to begin with.
Toronto has won one playoff series more than Buffalo has the last 13 years. Does their fanbase walk around stroking their cocks like no tomorrow ?
Everyone in their right mind wants Buffalo to make the playoffs year in and year out and win Stanley Cups.
But ffs I am sick and tired of hearing about the “drought” like a few first round exits the past few years would have any (frank)ing difference on the team they are going to ice for the 2024/2025 season.

Someone forgot to tell Vegas that when they made the Cup Final in their inauguration season.
Look at the rosters of Florida, Edmonton, and Dallas.
Look at the talent on those rosters, that’s why all three are alive for the Stanley Cup.
Eichel and ROR won cups in their first playoff appearances after leaving Buffalo. Both should have won the Conn Smythe. Lack of playoff experience didn’t seem to faze them.
Adams needs to put the best 23 players on the ice next year and let the chips fall where they may. |

So Dahlin, Tage, Cozens, JJ, Quinn and a plethora of other Sabres couldn't have used some playoff experience to help them get better for 24/25. Wow! |

ROR and Eichel joined teams already with a lot of playoff experience, you’re ignoring a big part of the whole point, there.
Oh, and, yes many Toronto fans do walk around stroking their cocks over how awesome the Mecca truly is.... |

Sure, it does happen to individual players, and yes, VGK did it for the first time in modern league history.
Let me ask you a question...in your job do you invest others money based on beating the odds against, contrarian strategy in nature? Your views are consistently of the contrarian mind set, always looking at exceptions and trying like hell to justify them. High risk, high reward, but low probability comes with it.
Yet there are strategies to reap more consistent rewards using higher probabilites and more proven methodologies. Lower individual wins, but many more of them, typically. You seem to be looking for that thick vein of gold on a once in a million chances |

No they don't need experience because boston would have swept us and Florida is going to lose half of their team |

I mean I guess! To me that's how you build and find out if you have the right mix of players or maybe something else needs to be tweaked for 24-25 to help us take that next Step! Hell I am old and don't know the game anymore so I have been told! |

Barkov is miles above our Tage or Cozens
Reinhart is miles above any of our winger
Bobrovsky is miles above 6K
Panthers top 4 D is miles above our top 4
Panthers PK is miles above ours
Panthers PP is miles above ours
Panthers middle 6 is miles above ours
so if we fix the 4th line we have a chance - homiedclown
Florida is losing half their team haven't you heard?
Boston has already called upl and told him its ok to make an extra save or two this season
Toronto publicly exposed themselves and its small
Benson said the division is ours |

No I’m saying the point itself is fairy dust.
My point is correlation doesn’t equal causation.
How many more years of playoff experience does Pavelski need before he gets a ring ?
Where is Jumbo Joes ring ? Patty Marleau ? Erik Karlsson ?
The Leafs, Canes, Rangers have made the playoffs consistently for the last several years ? How many more years of playoff experience to they need to win a cup ?
The Islanders had two deep playoff runs this decade, what explains their demise this year ?
The best team wins the Stanley Cup and you don’t carry anything forward to next year.
Really that simple |

I’m a technical analyst. My job is to remove emotion out of my decision making as best as I can and follow what price and volume tell me.
I invest based on probabilities and invest in asset classes that look appealing to me in my analysis despite the subjective narratives around those asset classes.
If there is ever a focus group that studies whether or not emotion dictates logic, I’ll direct them towards this blog

I’ve only seen one place charge for bread. A Sicilian place called Barbusa’s in Little Italy in downtown San Diego. I agree it seems tacky. |

Frank Kevyn Adams for not doing his job 2 years ago - Buff36
Adams is confusing.
On one hand, he shows faith in the players by extending so many of them, and many early.
Yet he doesn't fully support them as best he possibly can with offseason and trade deadline moves.
All comes down to winning not being a priority.
Cannot operate like that as a franchise. |

Adams mindset so far has never been to assemble the best roster he possibly could.
He settled each offseason, and decided to just see what they had. |
