Should have been a 5 minute major. NHL officiating is comical.

Until the repercussions outweigh the actions on the ice. Players will continue to take liberties and jeopardize our players safety and careers. Why the NHL is so afraid to enforce stiff suspensions is beyond me.

I am all for a rough hard hitting physical game. Hits to the head and on defenseless players from behind cannot be tolerated at any level.

Islanders have to get back to drafting well. Other teams still manage to do a good job with drafting. The odds are the Islanders will never be a top choice for top UFA players. Islanders need to rely mostly on the draft and trades.

Looks like Mitch Korn is going to the Preds. No surprise.

Cats are really good and are the better team. Panarin is not getting it done. You still need your big players to come through in these series.

Lou really does love the former Devils. Funny Lou is not building the team through the draft like those Devils teams. I'll take Scott as a coach over Houda.

Same kind of nepotism that hindered Snow throughout his horrible tenure with us. Loyalty should never get in the way of the success of the team. Maybe Terreri is a great pick for the job, I have no idea, but this looks all to familiar to me.

I agree Cpt. Hopefully Chris works out fine. Goalie coach is the least of the issues though.

I think there’s some interesting UFAs this summer. Hopefully Lou can sign a UFA or two and maybe make a “hockey trade”.

I think he’ll do some stuff but I think it’ll be much more minimal due to our situation with the cap, current contracts, etc. I’m just hoping he doesn’t do anything that will make the team worse long term. That’s about all I’m hoping for this off-season.

Don’t (frank) up the future anymore then he has already and it’s a win as far as I’m concerned.

I would be absolutely shocked if he didn’t. I’m just trying to think what team is giving up a decent player for a first right now. Said it before but I can see the Sabres taking a vet if he were looking to trade one to begin with. Makes a lot of sense.

Not sure who but I can see them looking to add some vet leadership to try and take the next step. Can’t see them looking for picks though their fanbases heads would explode aka the never ending rebuild.

Sens might take JGP back. If this draft is not known as a strong draft, I'm not sure what impact players the Islanders can acquire by trading some of these picks. Islanders still have to shed salary to even bring in a quality player.
