I will be surprised if Mitch is a leaf on opening night. They can make it abundantly clear right now, they have NO intention of keeping him, so it would be in his best interest to figure out where he'd be comfortable going and trying to get an 8 year deal in the mix and part ways, or GFY.

Also at this juncture, who do you think is gonna win the Cup?
I was way off this year, I thought the Leafs were gonna win.
I have no (frank)ing clue but at this point, just cause it's a 4 way pick em imo, I'd just say Rangers cause I like their goaltender. But it's a 1 in 4 dice throw. I think it's a pretty good set of 3rd round matchups.
So assuming they do whatever and have cap space to sign UFAs...who's potentially on the market that you guys would most like on the Toronto Maple Leafs? - Zezel

Buy all your cereal at Shoppers Drug Mart.
It’s always on sale as a loss leader. Deep, deep discounts.
And same with bags of milk. - Atomic Wedgie
I'm on that. Shopper's is outrageous on some things sometimes and then there's whatever they are loss leading, and when it's family-sized Shreddies or Capt Crunch or whatever, I'm there.

A. I am disappointed in your lack of appreciation for me insinuating that Berube has you on speed dial to come and straighten out any pencil neck big hat wearing Leaf players who need it!
B. This milk commercial is a certified banger. Ok maybe not but it made me laugh back in the day and again today when I just watched it.

I love going in there to pick up some medication, then doing a quick spin through the food aisles - buying only loss leader items. Cereal, milk, ice cream, PC frozen entrees.

Stamkos seems more like a retire with my family in Tampa and keep the band together for a couple more runs at the finals kind of guy. He's left money on the table previously and it wouldn't surprise me if he took another team-friendly deal. He doesn't owe the team that, he's just seems like that kind of guy and that's why he wears the "C".
Having said that, 8 years takes him to age 42 which is not realistic. The guy is half cyborg already and I don't see his joints holding together into his Gordie Howe years. Yeah, he's a fitness freak, but that only goes so far. I think he gets 5 years. Not sure what the AAV or caphit might look like though. - GalacticStone
Stamkos will be signing a 3 year deal in Toronto for league minimum, under the following conditions:

It will be interesting to see if the 8-year deal falls out of favour.

lactose free milk would be a more productive add campaign👍
in my younger years i was incredibly proud of my long, loud, retch inducing farts😍
i farted whenever or whenever i wanted👊🏿
depending upon the crowd, this would elicit admiration and laughter or horror🤔
this is a great way to figure out who your friends truly are 👍🏿
now I’m at an age where i drink lactose free because i can’t trust a fart and I’ve figured out that I’m lactose intolerant🤦♂️
i long for the days when i could blast ass without undie consequences so i could be the life of the party🤦🏿♂️😭

I don't like any of them, but my gut keeps saying Dallas, but I'd rather see Edmonton out of a perverse sense of spite.
On paper it should be New York or Florida, but both of those goalies are schitzy.
