True and a good starting point but what do you think the return maybe? Trading him for the sake of trading him isnt worth it. He is still a cost controlled player who isnt set to earn big money. He is a capable 3rd liner.

Id start with a buyout of Goodrow. Letting Wennberg, Roslovic and Gus walk.

I’m not sold letting goody go. He is playoff harden and a leader. He plays and hits hard. You need some of these guys like the rats.

They need Othmann to make the team (and be good enough to stick). His ELC would be enormous. Like if there is a god heaven he makes 1RW next year out of camp

I would be good with that. He also plays with an edge.

One of the biggest problems and really an all year problem is the ice time for the top guys. They’re gassed and facing the Panthers really magnifies it even more. It’s really burning them the bottom 6, and guys like Cuylle and Rempe ice time barely playing for long stretches. They need to roll 4 lines one o after another and aren’t doing it.

Brooks and I know he says some stupid stuff made a good point. Lavy has done a wonderful job with the team this year, but he is burning out the top 6. It’s not like we are down a couple of goals each game. Coolie had a Good game the other night but his minutes are shrinking. Even goodys minute decline. I get you ride the horses but they are gassed at the end of the game.

Games 1-4 he kinda was. But I'm nothing if not fair. He was better in game 5. Not good. But better. Doesn't mean much if they don't win though.

To be serious the biggest thing IF we get eliminated tonight is and I've said this before but you only get this close so few times, the chance of winning the Stanley Cup is 6 wins away & to go out after such a great season would to me be more deflating than 2012, then 2014, F it even worse than 1992

It’s pretty clear Florida has a better team top to bottom. But the rangers have the better goalie. If they can just get the powerplay going and Igor is Igor I still like our chances to advance. But the powerplay has to deliver

No one would be surprised with a win and Kreider scoring, but Panarin has fanned on more shots and passes in this series than I've ever seen any player ever do in a series, much less a player of his calibre. So frankly I'd be surprised if he scored tonight. Would love to be wrong
