Im good with that

I wonder sometimes if Panarin could have been the difference for the Islanders during that last Tampa series and then think probably not.

I agree with you, Panarin also changed up his style a bit, no constant button hooks into the zone, less stupid cross ice passes, he took some hits and gave a few also. He made some bad passes but he is high risk, high reward.

Mika on the other hand, sucked balls and IMO was the main reason why we lost.

At least we are all on the same page now lol

I know you guys are frustrated, but don’t blow it up outside of trying to send Trouba to the moon.

You guys have been the model of how to rebuild. Have a bunch of really good young players. And ANOTHER unreal goalie.

Blowing it up puts you back with the Flyers and let me tell you, that’s a long fall for you guys. It’s awful.

Thing is you can insulate Panarin, and yes, Trocheck and LAF benefited from all the attention he garnered. However, getting no production from Mika, and nothing from the 3rd line and our PP getting completely shut down... we got sunk.

Will let you all vent for a while. Have to process a bit. Will try and get a quick blog up tomorrow just to change the picture. Thereafter, TBD

Tonight was probably Kakko’s last game as a ranger, should have moved him for a more meaningful upgrade at the deadline

I always get ripped when I say "trade them while theyre hot". Now we will be lucky to get a 3rd round pick for him.

Nah you're wrong. The Flyers haven't blown series in 3 straight playoff years will having draft busts in the roster. The window for this Rangers team is very much closed. All while having a top 3 goalie. There is no bottom. It just worse.

Many teams do not know when to move on from players. You have to constantly keep up with the top teams.

I think there were a bunch of us who were not totally sure if Kakko would ever live up to being a 2nd round pick. Some far more critical of Mr. "skates like hes in jello".

Flyers had Nolan Patrick.

Have to make the playoffs to blow playoff series.

Some tinkering for sure, but they are a 100+ point team next year again.

Florida was the only team I felt could beat the Rangers. They somehow get knocked out and you guys would’ve been hoisting the Cup in 2 and a half weeks. I truly truly believe that. And this is from someone that despises the Rangers.

So glad we kept that 1st round pick so Dolan gets his sphere draft lol. Would have helped to use at the deadline

It's also ironic that Tarasenko scored the goal that eliminated them.

That too. Again, this is why I want Drury fired. He's very much part of the problem. The bad he's done has far outweighed the good.

Well there is the root. Dolan loved Sather too. Look where that got the Rangers. The same place we are now.

Feel like we need another lockout with a free buyout period where we can dump one of these contracts.

Curious as to the actual real price Verbeek wanted for Frankie was from Drury …

rumor was that New York turned down a deal involving a first and Kakko for Adam Henrique and Frank Vatrano. Unsure if that was true or not.

That was reported by one person and was debunked shortly thereafter. Keeping a pick late in the first because the draft was at the sphere seemed unlikely at best.

If that’s true that is pretty awful by Drury. Both could have made a huge difference in this series
