Wasn’t trying to be snarky or insulting. And, if Fox was healthy, I’d agree. But lets be honest, Messier was the driving force in those game 6&7 wins in 94 and there is no Messier on this team.

And yes, I’m a Flyers fan, but I’m not deluded. The Rags are a good club, but I just think Florida is better constructed to win in the pkayoffs.

They are losing right now to a better team. It's why they were the underdog to start the series. They won back to back overtime games and lost a pair of 3-2 games. No pride would be getting blown out and getting swept. They need the fortitude to find a way to win, pride is not what I question.

Just watching the panthers during the season, it was the team i least wanted to face in the playoffs. I dont know how they have kept it up, but they have been playing playoff hockey all year. I definitely thought we are the underdog in this series, but i still have some hope, although its about as much hope as me banging Salma Hayek

Messier was an elite leader and a member of six cup wins. Saying no one on this team is him is not a surprise.

Your problem is that you look at the game as if NY is playing in a vacuum. The Panthers are every bit as good a team as we are and they are built a little better for the playoffs. On top of that, they are firing on pretty well all cylinders at exactly the right time. You ignore that and put it all on our players as if they aren't even trying. Some need more passion and fire to their play, obviously. I'm not blind to that. But, if you think that has nothing to do with the opposition than maybe you should stop posting about hockey and try playing it for a couple years.
