Wasn’t trying to be snarky or insulting. And, if Fox was healthy, I’d agree. But lets be honest, Messier was the driving force in those game 6&7 wins in 94 and there is no Messier on this team.

And yes, I’m a Flyers fan, but I’m not deluded. The Rags are a good club, but I just think Florida is better constructed to win in the pkayoffs.

Florida is a nightmare to play against mdw. I get flashback to the Islanders losing twice to Tampa in the ECF. These darn Florida teams.

I remember all that. Those players were just proven and had some more confidence for them to bounce back. Hopefully this team proves us wrong

I was 17 at the time, and remember it well. I also remember the 94 NYR controlling many games during their SC run. I cant remember 1 game in the past 10 that this current roster has controlled from beginning to end.....or, at the very least, owned the majority of the offensive zone time.

Exactly that team in 94 had some real proven vets as well who won. They never felt out of it even when things went wrong

zero wins in game 5's in the ECF but the Rangers are 7-2 in Game 6's when trailing a series, here we go

Florida realized that Huberdeau wasn't what they needed to win the Cup.

Drury will have to make a BIG move and bring in player(s) whose game translates to Cup success. Not a knock on any individual players...it's just too much a mix of skill, and not enough black and blue players who can do it all, and change their styles when the game or series calls for it.
