If you guys are going to move Lafreniere, he would be very much appreciated in Vancouver.

I don’t think there’s anyone on this thread who doesn’t know I want the panthers to win. With that said I’m not sure you should be pontificating on here just yet.

I haven’t pontificated, at all.
I am well aware that this series could turn on a dime.

Ya, was just posting that because someone suggested to trade him and Shesterkin. Laffy is just starting to put it all together, he is gonna be a great player for years to come.

I actually was thinking before the season he would take some time to pan out and follow the Daniel Sedin timeframe to becoming a great player, while other here have pointed to Gabriel Landeskog

Florida adding Forsling and Verhaeghe when they were avialble to the whole league is just pure brilliance

I gotta hand it to them, whoever was the brains behind it

- jimbro83

I still hated giving up Amonte, Keenan thought he was soft and hated him. He was way off base. Matteau and Noonan came up big in the playoffs, Smith still overpaid for them

I was thinking more like JT Miller, without the nastiness yet.

BTW, Miller has easily been the Canucks best player, ever since he arrived in Vancouver. Although it took him a bit longer to reach his peak, it is usually expected that most power type forwards come around after 5-6 years.

He's been here since game 1 and came prepared to have level-headed discussions. I have not problem with his conduct.

Well, someone wanted Selma, so we now have her, so that I agree with. Gif, yes, the sentiments behind it, no. Better?

Miller would be a way better fit in NY now than Zib. Turned into a hell of a player

C’mon man, these guys are perfectly capable of defending themselves if they object.

I share an admiration for Salma, she speaks Spanish,
& I thought people would like the gif, anyway.

Neil Smith saw that Gartner and Amonte weren't what NYR needed to win the Cup.
Florida realized that Huberdeau wasn't what they needed to win the Cup.

Drury will have to make a BIG move and bring in player(s) whose game translates to Cup success. Not a knock on any individual players...it's just too much a mix of skill, and not enough black and blue players who can do it all, and change their styles when the game or series calls for it.

- rrentz

Swapping out Strome for Vinny T is an example, and he is showing why it was the right move with his grit in the playoffs
We dont have a Matthew Tkachuck guy either, not that they grow on trees, but you need guys like that

Torts hated Miller never gave him a chance, would bench him for anything he could, he should still be here...
