Oilers didn't trade back into the 1st from another round lower, like you're making it sound.
They traded for a few spots down from their original pick in the 1st to one slightly lower, still in the 1st. - kingcong39
Congratulations, both teams traded 4 1st round picks to improve their teams. The 2 trades that are not helping, are the 2 trades the Oilers made swapping picks. |

You incessantly talk about height and weight, and yet you're calling a player a power forward who is smaller then Jeff Skinner in both height and weight. |

That’s not a rule, it’s what I want the incompetent GM who continues to draft small perimeter playing forwards in the draft since 22’.
Adams has had this core in Buffalo since 22’ says he has faith in them, yet continues to draft their replacements vs, trading to support them.
If he’s going to continue to draft, draft correctly.
Don’t be so small minded by making such a moronic connection |

Drafting 'correctly' would mean missing on Konecny.
Do you actually have a consistent point? |

No it doesn’t.
And yes I have remained consistent. |

The day Jeff Skinner is 5’11” and 195 lbs is the day Derek Roy writes an exposé on his homosexual escapades
Not a chance |

this is incredibly false. There's not a single player from 23 or 22 that matches that description. |

They play that way, and got destroyed by a group of AHL lifers who grinded them into irrelevancy. |

Anyone notice a trend:
Ostlund:
The Calder Cup Playoffs can be unforgiving to a 5-foot-11, 163-pound neophyte like Buffalo Sabres center prospect Noah Ostlund.
Forget about the talent and supreme hockey sense the Swede, 20, possesses. He was the lightest player on either roster during the Americans’ North Division semifinal series.
Kulich:
Following a regular season in which he roared out of the gate, slumped in the middle and finished on a tear, Buffalo Sabres center prospect Jiri Kulich struggled in the Calder Cup Playoffs.
Kulich, 20, scored nine goals in his final 13 regular-season outings for the Rochester Americans. In a game he did not score during that torrid stretch, he pumped 11 shots on goal.
Rosen:
As a first-round pick in 2021, 14th overall, Rosen arrived in North America in 2022 with a reputation as a skilled offensive player. While he has grown that part of his game, he has also developed into a trusted two-way threat.
“I think Isak is on a great trajectory for that, and now he needs to attack this summer and keep changing his body and keep adding more strength and power and explosiveness.” - Appert
Savoie:
But like so many other moments during Savoie’s 14-day conditioning assignment with the Amerks, it was a chance to grow, a chance to learn how to better use his body to perhaps derail the attack of a stronger opponent. |

About up Adams alley! - Buff36
Sabres could build a brand new, more impactful 4th line of Joshua, Rafferty and Carrier for $5M-$6M annually.
Those players could even play up a line when needed, in case of injury, for example.
I have zero faith in Adams and company doing that. |

There are numerous others aside the 3 I named, but overall, zero excuses anymore.
Get the job done, or get out. |

Yeah, I mean Adams is gonna have plenty of options this offseason with players to fill the Teams needs. Just can he get players to say yes and get it done and with NO More E.Johnson's, Okposo or Girgensons. |

Guess Adams should have tried to make it look like they wanted to win a couple years ago, would have helped himself a bit at this point. |

good news is i believe he's past the okposos and johnsons per his comments. he doesnt feel the need to go seek veteran leaders anymore. which should help him not sign absolute sacks of potatoes.
