I read on the internet that they call Reinhart “skunk” that means he smells, happy he’s gone

I feel like I'm living in crazy town. Kevyn Adams was promoted out of obscurity due to his close ties to Terry, has had one season where he even sniffed a wildcard berth, and we're giving him the benefit of the doubt because a coach we all liked 15 years ago is back
BTW- that coach fired Adams off his staff and Terry relocated him within the org. Well, he's had 5 years to learn as GM. Maybe he gets it now - Hank Balling
That was when they went 100% insular out of fear they felt like everyone was (frank)ing them over, with the final straw being Ralph attempting a Coup d'état of Botterill and the org. while he was head coach.
Humorous part of 2 seasons ago is Adams was so shocked and mystified by multiple players having incredible seasons that he did nothing of significance to take advantage of the amazing performances.
He was damn near catatonic. |

When he deals Tage, Dahlin and Tuck next offseason, he'll get another do over 🤣😅 - kingcong39
It's coming, but atleast we will have the Number 1 prospect pool for another 10 years. Unfortunately we will be on Year 23 of missing the playoffs. Hey but there's HOPE! |

I stopped cheering for them to tank after the Savoie pick.
Said the Sabres would be playing meaningful hockey in March the year after (they did).
I was a Jack Quinn injury away from being right again this year.
But continue. |

Do you have any faith in Adams to actually understand who is worth trading that pick for? I don't. Briere is out here pumping Laughton's tires as a real Larry's Larry. That's probably music to KA's ears - Hank Balling
I don't either, and I don't trust him to listen to the people on his staff who do, when he's still far too invested in making the likes of Jerry Forton feel so happy that he tears up. |

if the pick is truly in play it has to be for a top 6 player up front or top 4 d man
right?
center?
winger?
rd?
Pavel Buchnevich with a 4 year extension would look good
I would think Necas or Ehlers would have to have an extension
Cirelli?
I honestly do not trust Adams trading that pick as I fear he would get fleeced - homiedclown
Agree with everything you said above, especially the last line.
It appears that Adams may finally have some pressure on him.
I'm terrified of what he'll do. |

We’ll never know. In the brief sample size he played though the point production was high end. Had he been able to play the rest of the season coming back from the first injury I think they do it.

I'm trying not to hold it against Lindy, but hiring KA without looking + hiring Donnie without really looking is hard to overlook completely.
If they don't make the playoffs this year, it's a mess. Terry isn't going to want to pay Kev, Donnie, and Lindy all not to work for him. They need a strong start in the worst way. - Lunaion
The home game atmosphere will be ugly times ugly if they start next season badly. |

That's a convenient bridge way too far for me, with how bad and missing their top 6 was last season compared to the season before last.
One guy wasn't magically fixing that. |

They played meaniful hockey this March or last March, because both years were helped very much by Teams around them. Sabres would have had a much better chance 2 years ago if Adams had done anything to help his depleted D core or got a goalie. Quinn would not have saved the Sabres last year. Even if he was in the lineup the Sabres still needed pieces. They got a whiff last year because UPL Finally looks to have turned the Corner. |

2 years removed from him trying to sell us on Girgs and the 4C they needed, then claiming a 4C off waivers.
Can he do it again? - Lunaion
Then bringing that 4C back at a bloated salary that was eventually sent to Rochester 🤣 |

One guy who had 37 points in 75 games in 22-23
Adams likes to act like they were missing prime Ovechkin from the 23-24 roster. It was always a hope with Quinn, injuries or not |

Jack Quinn’s Points/60 is almost identical to Brady Tkachuk’s.
One guys absence is insignificant, meanwhile everyone on here would trade half the pipeline for the other guy tomorrow while each wall in their respective houses would get a new coat of white if Adams pulled it off |

The two don't belong in the same conversation until Quinn puts up 35 goals and 80+ points imo. Not to mention the aspects of the game that Quinn doesn't possess beyond points |

Mikkola and Kulikov were spare parts additions this past offseason.
Who’s to say Clifton doesn’t look good in that system playing bottom pairing minutes ?
We’ll never know. |

It's the special "Sauce" that Kevyn sends out to some at the start of the Offseason. All the excuses come out on a Team basically looking for the same things they were 4 years ago to help them get over the Mountain. Funny thing is we supposedly have drafted good, but we still don't know if 3/4 of them can play or fill needed area's. |
