This team should have a top 9 spot at forward
Tuch tage peterka
Quinn cozens skinner
Benson
Greenway Krebs girgs
No olo, Robinson or jost imo
Leaves 2 top 9 spots open , before Quinn gets hurt again - Boss34
One of those is a C that they'll need to acquire. The other is Greenway, as of now.
Also a given that he'll add an energy 4th liner or two. Those spots are wide open.

Gotta give to get, and the Sabres have to many Prospects, they can afford to move a few. Just because they move Prospects, doesn't mean there all gonna be the Kulich's, Savoie, Rosen. Sabres have quantity to with Neuchev, Kisakov, Johnson and such if needed. - Buff36
Just like you said though, gotta give to get.
Those top prospects should bring in an actual nhl player or 2.
Also, the top guys really seam to be knocking at the nhl door as soon as September training camp
I could see a trade involving Rosen and #11 plus a lesser prospect like you mentioned |

Krebs and greenway haven’t proven to be anything more than a couple fringe 4th liners imo
Also, the 4th line will have a guy with 600+ nhl games as a Sabre on the roster
Wonder if Krebs, #11 and Rosen bring in a ror type value?
3 pieces and take back a salary dump too (hopefully not) |

KA hasn't been shy about saying he needs something different from his bottom 6. We all know what that means. I know it's tough to hear.
I could see them trading Greenway. He takes too much crap here. Not the power forward he looks like he could be, but he still adds something their middle 6 lacks.
Not high on Krebs, but I'd rather not give him away for pennies. They are very thin at C, which is just sad after all these picks.

Guess it depends on what the other Team wants for that NHL Player. They might want a Quinn or JJ instead of a Rosen or Savoie.

Think you described how his plans could fall apart. He's going to try to move things that other teams might not be high on.

I’m pretty sure Girgensons will be back. I know that’s tough to hear
Krebs is a KA guy and plays center, so he’s probably a lock next year

Absolutely, but I’d be shocked to see peterka or Quinn moved this offseason.
They appear to be part of the solution, not the problem.
Gotta give to get though for sure , so maybe they are in play for a real superstar? |

If they just add a C and run it back, that would suck. Kev should not gamble his career on this group.

Can't see Lindy coming back if that was the Case. If it is then it could be another long season. |

Imagine Lindy isn't shy about wanting a 4th line who can mix it up a bit and not just 3 1st round fallouts.

I just can't see it, unless Adams completely falls on his face again in the offseason. I am hoping Lindy might be able to pull a few of those FA who probably would say NO to Buffalo but might see Lindy as the Ignition to turn Buffalo around.

That (frank)er better prove everyone wrong in the next couple months. I really think his job depends on it this time. People are reporting that he may actually be in trouble if they miss the playoffs. |

KA job is in jeopardy if they have less then the 84 points they had this season imo
More then 84 can be deemed progress
The seat is just a bit warm imo |

It's definitely warming up. You may be right. He probably does survive until at least Lindy's contract is up.
We hear all these good things about the guys in the front office (Karmanos, Ventura), and none of it has translated to the ice, but I'd hate to lose those guys, too.
But whatever. I'm open to whatever. Just win. |

If they are out of it by the Christmas again, he might be gone. He can't blame the coach a third time.
Not expecting a bad start, but he can't afford it.

We heard good things about their analytics, then a bunch of moves and coaching comments that show they aren't listening.

Agreed , the Lindy contract/ 2 years seams safe for KA.
I just hope Lindy pounds the table for someone with heart and physicality doesn’t take poop

Just have to better than half the teams in the east.
These bad starts and horrible home records kill the vibe before we have a chance to feel good about ourselves.
