Congratulations Oilers! What a game and a series! McDavid is unreal, a true leader for your team. Are they unstoppable? So far no team has been able to slow them down enough to win 4 games. Going to be another great series, Saturday is too far away. - K-man25
Glad to see you can turn off the Oiler hate to appreciate a really good hockey team.

Oilers had the easiest road by far. Dallas was a good team but pretty beat down after playing Vegas and Colorado. Florida has also had the toughest road to the final. To me the only thing that can beat the Panthers are the refs. This will be Floridas easiest series. - Bullot
I’m chirping the Oilers fans. I’m not trying to hurt peoples feelings with some massive personal insult bud - take it easy. Imagine thinking that my chirps have some kind of anger behind them and not just meant to be a Richard and chirp Oilers fans. Imagine taking the internet so seriously that you can’t comprehend that someone is just having a laugh and being a smartass.
Lack of hockey to state that I feel the Oilers are basically 2 Mega Stars & PP/PK?…they are. With a 3rd player that rotates (Human, RNH, etc). Imagine the coach saying the same I am: that they rely heavily on their PP/PK to win a lot of games for them.
Imagine continuously going into Canucks thread and chirping them then getting offended when someone else does the same to you/your team. Keep crying kiddo. - Big23Questions

My God you're a moron! Just STFU. - Donald Twain
You’ve mentioned that. Which part am I wrong about? The coach admitting it, the numbers, my opinion they aren’t a good ‘team’ but rather good PP with 2 mega stars?
Rather than swearing and tantrum - use big boy words and debate.
Oilers 5v5 - 39 GF 37 GA
Oilers everything else - 22 GF 9 GA

‘A Twain Indeed’
From the desk of the resident genius with a brilliant hockey mind and an uncanny talent for expressing themselves:
“You are a fùcking idiot.”
“My God you're a moron! Just STFU.”
“I don't converse with filthy Irish cultists. Fùck off.”
“You are an ignorant cùnt.”

As you can see from these responses (literally no other hockey based comments in response) this young man is a student of the game and continues to make his parents proud.

So, your response to counter-chips about the team relying only on the PP is to produce stats that show they are better than the opposition at 5on5 as a team?
And then acknowledge that the team is also good on the PK as well as the PP. You do realize that everyone on the team has played some PP or PK minutes, right? Only about 5 players have less than a minute per game on either/or.

Seems reasonable. - Beergu
Those stats show that 5v5 they are squeakers and that the PP/PK is their main reason for winning. Not 5v5 play.

That McJesus goal last night was miraculous. Watch it again, slowly.
He dekes and dangles through a crowd of Dallas jerseys, then picks a spot and the red light is on.
You can't just blame Otter for that. He undressed the whole Dallas team on that play. Look back at the bench - all of the Dallas players are shirtless.
Our Lord McJesus is dialed in and his prophet is Hymen. Praise him.
Florida's only chance is to play dirty and attempt to injure McJesus.
Bennett is Judas. TkaUpchuk is Pilate. They will attempt to crucify our Lord.

Is that how they shut down kuchie Kuchie koochierov?
Dumb ass comment Galactic
1. Completely different. Fla is a good team that was struggling and rely on tendy while sorting it out.
2. I actually have said multiple times there should be no apologies for having a team that is a great PP. I just pointed out that it’s the PP that carries the team (with 97/29).
3. I don’t think the oilers are a good “team”. - Big23Questions
1) Completely disagree. Bruins - mostly minus Bergeron and Krejci, had Panthers on the ropes until Bob came into the fold. Then he stymied the Bruins and was a huge factor in why the Panthers eliminated the Bruins. Only reason Panthers made the playoffs was because Pitt could not beat Chicago or Col in their last two games, so Panthers squeaked in as last Wild-card.
2) Oiler have killed 25 straight powerplays. That affects the win/loss to a great degree as well.

Panthers had one more game left after Pitt lost their last game. They rested a bit during it because their spot was locked in, they go balls out and win that game and Pittsburgh loss becomes irrelevant.. And if you look at where the Panthers were in January, I guess it’s still “squeaking in”, but they were on a hell of a roll the second half and it was a hot team that Bs ran into.

They were hot being down 3-1?
My point is Bob turned that series around. Without him Panthers would probably have lost in 5.
No diff than Oil relying on special teams. Both are part of hockey.

1. Disagree. Florida is physical and plays a good defensive game. Well suited for playoffs - just had a tough start against the lineup that set records and won Presidents Trophy handily.
2. Special teams does not make a good lineup/’team’….its SPECIAL teams. Not 5v5.
3. Why would you be on internet if you don’t care to share or read or hear other people opinions? If it’s just mine you don’t give a frank about - why respond?

I pointed out facts and you find that odd?
OK bud.
You cherry-pick aspects of the game that support your argument and ignore the rest.
That's why I don't give a frank about your opinion.
