What is the cost for Trouba, probably gonna have to retain some of that contract I would suspect ? - Buff36
My proposal is Trouba, retained 1.5m, for a 3rd round pick. |

After constantly getting bigger, faster, stronger, grittier... you still have Chytil and Jones in the lineup? - aecliptic
On a team littered with NMC/NTC I picked a few spots on the roster I think need complete shakeups via trade or UFA. If you want to say that we should trade chytil and jones, ok. But they are at all time low value right now and I don’t think it’s likely to expect 3+ trades for roster spots.
Not to mention we lost because we couldn’t move the puck out of our zone |

This team needs to get bigger and tougher to play against. I’d be open to trading almost anyone on this roster minus Laf and Shesty.
Our defense is small and lacks the aggressiveness needed to win a cup.
Need to increase size up front also and get guys willing to go into the dirty areas to win puck battles. Zib and Panarin will never be those players. - nyrangers9479
I just wanted to say thank you for what was, from an outside perspective, an incredibly entertaining series.
As far as size/toughness goes, it has nothing to do with Rempe. True toughness is every single player in the roster being willing to skate through a wall for each other. That is Florida's toughness, that is why they have the Rangers fits. The Rangers weren't willing, or able, to do the same. That's not something one puncher can change, it's a mindset every player has to have. It's not easy to find. |

Heres how Id approach it, send Chytil and Kakko to SJ for a 2nd, 3rd and 4th round pick.
Ok, what happens if Chytil gets another concussion next year, which is very plausible considering his history, then you definitely got nothing.
Cut ties, call it a day, move on.
Its crazy to me that people still want to sit here and pray, hope and make apologies for Chytil. We can use the money freed up by Chytil to sign Duchene or Stephenson.
The money freed up in trading Trouba can be used to sign Marchessault or Toffoli. |

Chytl isn’t a 3c on a cup contender. Soft as poop |

Who do you suggest they trade Trouba to with $1.5M retained for their 3rd? |

Jones proved when he was in the lineup that he can handle himself. May not be that big but didn't back down from anyone and has the speed to move the puck |

It’s a mindset and certain style of play. Definitely not easy to find and the rangers don’t have that yet |

Much rather have jones as a 6/7 then chytl. They need to move him |

Its a very difficult situation because of his NTC but Detroit feels like the perfect partner for the Rangers. Hes from Michigan and Detroit could use a 2RD, Id bump the retention up to 2m if need be. |

The second problem is Trouba has a 15 team NTC and I highly doubt Buffalo is on it. |

It's really comical. Dallas who has the toughness and grit most here are clamoring for ,and are very similar to Florida, are about to get eliminated . Last year we were looking for more speed to better compete with the Devils now we want more grit and size. There is no one size fits all plan to win the Cup. We are close . Tearing it down isnt the answer IMO. |

Probably, but my pull would be to his Wife. Buffalo has 2 of the Best Brain Research Hospitals in the Country. |

You dont tear it down, but you have to improve in your weakest areas as well as try to get as much value as you can.
Trouba, Chytil, Kakko... negative value. You can turn the money the 3 of them make into Stephenson and Marchessault, Cup winners together. Bring in Sherwood on the cheap for a productive, physical LW for the bottom 6. Fill the last spot on offense from within. |

While I agree with the majority of people here regarding Trouba, I think there is a ZERO percent chance the Rangers actually do trade or buy him out. I do not see any way that they will do that to the captain of the team, regardless of how he's played.
But, stranger things have happened. |

You don’t need size and grit or just speed. It’s a skating league but you can have perimeter soft players. Have play the right way style and mindset. Rangers are close but not good enough |

They traded McD and Callahan both whom were better players and captains. Trouba can easily be moved if they want

Yeah, I know she is big into finding a Cure for a Disease a Family member suffered from. Roswell is about to Open a Whole new Wing in Immune Gene Therapy for Brain and Cancer Research. I mean it probably doesn't work with the Sabres history, but atleast it wouldn't be because it might affect her Career |
