There have been several posts about who the Blackhawks draft if they make trades with Montreal and Utah
Can we say these players go 1-4:: Celebrini, Demidov, Lindstrom, D!ckinson
Which means Buium, Leveshenov, Eiserman, Caton, Yakemchuk available if we were drafting at fifth and 6th overall.
I have to wonder what happens with our owned #18 overall. Is it moved too in trade? How many #1 round '24 does KD want because it could be two or more contracts for rookies at same time should they enter the NHL together (same year).
Maybe KD swaps #18 for a #1 2025 or 2926. What year dies Bedard's cousin get drafted?
An u likely scenario would find KD offering a #1 2025 plus another #1 and ? If Celebrini does not want to play in San Jose. Imagine top two lines with ekwbrini and Bedard on different line.. Nice balance eh - jhawk59 for the Hawks to trade the 2nd overall pick it have to be overwhelming offer they could not pass up. I don't see it happening imo it's between Demidov and Lindstrom. If Lindstrom medicals come clear with no concerns about the hand or back I think they take Lindstrom is potential and ceiling is so high and supposedly being compared to lindros is high praise will live up to that billing who knows. If the Hawks have doubt then Demidov is the pick either way the Hawks win.

Hey Scitt I decided to update the post you just responded to instead of posting additional thoughts in another post. If KD traded down perhaps he has in mind only if he gets another top ten choice like Utah's. Of course a third %1 at #18 is too far down but he could maybe extract something from the other trades and us it to move the # 18 into a higher pick .
I know that is a lot of whelin’ and dealing but you maybe do that one time, one year when you see opportunities
Then he could add a second forward or second dman but either way he has two positions he added a top player(s). If KD wants a dman and likes two prospects he figures to get one of them. Then he could add another dman or another forward
KD might like to add a top forward producer or a great offensive dman but only can do so after he drafts probably the dman he likes best at #5 overall |

Vegas gotta stop over near the rink and have a In N Out Burger! - SaskHawkFan
And ask for both grilled and regular raw onion.
Just opened ELite Prospct guide and on Demidov's skating:
Plays with great dexterity and touch which makes him so effective as a handler is every bit as present when he’s ready to send the puck elsewhere.
There’s some concern among our staff that Demidov is prone to overhandling, a problem made worse by playing in a league several steps below his ability. ((Note: The word was play here since you made it clear your not resigning and planning to play in the NHL.)...along with the fact that his wide, unorthodox skating stride and an overreliance on inside-edge maneuvers may limit his success at the NHL level.
The potential is through the roof with Demidov, and he will only be under contract for one more year. |

Just got through some of the latest Hockey News and they have a good comparison between Levshunov and D!ckinaon. Sounds like they’re closer than some scouts at the Athletic. Michael Hage could be an intriguing guy at 18. Would love to get Iginla but he’ll be gone if he gets to Calgary. |

Yep cannot wait I m going to draft in Vegas bucket list type if thing. Should a great time and experience - Scott1977
Used to do a trade show every other year in Vegas in June, my only advice is to over hydrate and don't drink Vodka and Tonics at the pool............
If maturing means doing something stupid, learning from your mistakes, and not doing them again, this is one of mine. Dehydration happens in an instant in the desert in the summer

Substitute Parekt or Buium in D!ckinson spot if some team likes a certain dman more than D!ckinson
Which means two of those dmen plus these prospects are waiting to be plucked: Leveshenov, Eiserman, Caton, Yakemchuk. Available if we were drafting at fifth and 6th overall.

I realize acquiring both 5th and 6th overall is just rumors swirling but if it happened KD could select two dmen and a forward which is the way I would go. I don't know that both DelMastro and Allen will wind up in Chucago long term but Rinzel might be more likely to play here a long time. If KD wants a mobile but at least some of his dmen to be tough hombre too, just whom is going to be on third pair?
Maybe a reliable Del Mastro and the least good defensively of the other guys
Where BTW is Kaiser going to wind up? I mean he has to start showing more solid defensively else he is moved - jhawk59
Davidson playing the long game on this one. I might've opted for getting their first rounder in 3026 as my sources tell me that is the cousin of Bedard that will truly be generational. |

Alternatively asking wiz, how many first round choices will adorn the Indian head crest opening night lineup? Be careful with your addition to derive your answer......if somewhat surprisingly both zFoligno and T Hall are still around |

Bedard, Nazar, Rinzel, Korchinski, Moore, Hayes, Ludwinski, Kantzerov, the #2 (#5 ?) pick this year. Savoie, Lardis, Misiak are possibilities. |

3? Bedard, Korbustsky, Nazar. Unless KK spends time in Rockford. Did I miss anyone?
Still very early in the build portion of the rebuild. Nonetheless, the BOD expects them to go from 2nd to last to the edge of playoff contention, stat (stat means now).
Edit....Missed the year, my answer was for this year. |

My best guess is at least 10. With a very very strong prospect pool/minor league system

You can even put the Panthers door there since they sucked as well |

I will also get a kick out of when the Hawks start doing well with some of the picks from the previous admin. Our ‘THAT WAS DALE’S PICK’ motto from 13+ years ago will start making a comeback, and for the first time since 2015 there will be a positive thing said about Stan Bowman here.
Obligatory RIP my chosen one boy Boqvist, the eternal prospect, the Aldi Karlsson, the next Keith, the mail in the coffin. |

I'm not trying to turn this into a travel blog, but I'm heading to the Banff/Lake Louise area in a couple weeks. To the Canadians here, anything to definitely do or avoid? Planning on a number of hikes and visiting some microbrews. |

Try to avoid the bears. A friend and his wife were walking in Banff and encountered a couple. No confrontation or damage to any participants, but a new set of undergarments were required. |

There’s a gondola that takes you high above the forests and you can see lots of wildlife including bears. There are canoe excursions to see the hidden rivers and parts of the lake. And apparently there are morning and evening canoe excursions to see some fabulous sunrises and sunsets. Make sure you try a steakhouse, allot of people swear the beef in Alberta is the best. And if you’re there between July 4-14 head to Calgary and catch the Calgary Stampede.

2 Suggestions:
1) Spend a day at the Columbia Icefields if you can. And ride the Ice Explorer.
2) While in Alberta never, ever mention the name of Justin Trudeau or the Liberal Party. |
