I dont think you win a trade with Marner. It's more a cap/business trade not so much a hockey trade. The win comes more in altering and balancing the roster moving out the
High salary and reallocating that money.

Far as Kadri goes wasnt a great return but beyond the right move for a number of factors and reasons. If management cant make hard decisions because they are worried over past moves years ago then time for a management clean house again. Cant make hard decisions then get out!!

EF says that the concern is about how fans/media will react if Marner went into next season without an extension.

That's part of the discussion with Marner's camp .... if both sides agree to let the last year play out .....does he want to deal with the negative attention?
