Jokes aside, I think the Panthers are going to be the ones struggling to score. Oilers do a pretty good job of insulating Skinner. The Florida d-men may also get exposed - guys like OEL, Kulikov might get eaten up in bad match-ups. Just like guys like Tanev and Suter were exposed last round. I've watched 100 Oiler games this year. McDavid hasn't even been his best through these playoffs. Believe it or not but he has the potential to take this one gear higher.

BIG dmen as well for EDM. If they can get puck out of dzone quickly Fla forecheck won't be able to roll them like w/ NYR

I beg to differ. The Panthers will forecheck them heavily. They're health this year and have already been to the finals. The East is much stronger and plays a heavier game. It takes a lot to get out of the Atlantic, with 4 contenders and 3 up and coming teams in that division. The Metro is the Rangers and Hurricanes. The other 6 are interchangeable. What great powerhouse resided out west this year? It was wide open and the Oilers just walked through a broken front door. The Oilers overall defense is average at best and their goaltending is about a 5 out of 10. The Panthers roll 4 good forward lines and their defense is solid. The goaltending differential is night and day. Panthers in 5.
