Ok now hear me out here… after reading this I get why Tom has been like this. Its not that I agree at this current place were at. However when they promised a full rebuild in 2016/17, Tom thought he would get the restart we needed, however that quick tease ended abruptly with the signing of Panarin and Trouba. His dream of rebuilding from the ground up was shattered. A dream he still holds on to. Now, as far as hes concerned, weve essentially become this team good enough to make the playoffs but thats about it. He blames that on the fact that we didnt do the rebuild correctly.
