What’re you using? Or is it just your cable provider username/password? - TC88
Yeah I just pay for regular cable. The Rangers are way too engrained in my life where I need to have to think about how I’m watching them. They need to just be on when I turn the TV on
But I hear ya. I understand the desire to get rid of cable |

I’ll probably just stand pat too. Biggest problem for me is that in my area the only cable option is spectrum, but have multiple internet options. Our internet is trash, and if we switch have to keep Spectrum cable which will probably cost me 50% more since I’m not bundling. It’s all gotten out of hand IMO. |

Trading CK20 would be a big blow to this line up. He is a career Ranger. Production dried up in the Playoffs. The Rangers need to break up CK20 and Mika and try something different while incorporating some more youth and grit. - Brukie
Keep it like this. I like this Brukie. Good conversation.
I agree, the other part of me says we can never trade him bc of what he’s meant to this franchise and what he’s done.
The part about Kreider that bothers me is he’s lost that edge to his game. He was my favorite Ranger early in his career, played that hard nose, stick up for teammates style. Somewhere in the last feed years he’s lost that edge. I want the Chris Kreider that absolutely crushed the guy (I think it was against FLA or OTT) that gave Stepan a cheap shoulder to the chin. Bring that Chris Kreider back. Or the one that dropped them with the DAL guy (Eakins maybe?) that ran Hank the game before. |

I think the great things that still exist about Chris Kreider at age 33 Lafreniere can replace.
We have a young player on the cusp of greatness and we arent utilizing him to his potential

Do you know anyone with MSG? If you do, download the app and just cast it to your TV from your phone. |

He has toned down the physical stuff but he is still a producer, playoffs especially, he has 15 goals in elimination games to boot, I cant/dont want to trade that kind of production especially when this is our window.
Problem with Laffy is of course where to put him, with Panarin and CK20 he is third on the depth chart. Panarin has 2 more years, CK20 3 more years, then we have to ask, what do the Rangers do? Laffy will only be 25 or so by then. I dont think there is a need to rush this.
Lets see what they do on the RW, swing for the fences or go small.
Lets face facts here, the Panthers are a beast team this year, doesnt look like anything will stop them but can the Panthers continue like this next season? That would be 3 years in a row of making the finals, practically unheard of.
Next season this team could have a big run in them, IMO, gotta get that 5v5 going!! |

So you want to have the second line as our first PP unit and the first line as our second PP unit? - Brukie
I know, but when the PP 2nd unit was Wennberg, Roszlivic, Trouba, Gustafsson and Laf I was like "alright there's one guy I trust.

yeah not when we're expecting them to put up numbers. if they're just there on the 3rd or 4th lines cool, but yeah unfortunately not first or second line material.

This is where I'm at Brukie. Florida has a bunch of FAs they won't be able to resign and if the Rangers can largely keep this team together with a few tweaks/upgrades (especially to 5v5) I think they have a great chance of coming out of the east next year. This was just Floridas year. |

Looking to cut the cord this year, but MSG has been my only hesitance.
Have a neighbor who uses Apollo TV on fire stick. Guess he pays like $100 for the year and gets all channels including 3 MSG channels plus PPV fights etc.
Said there’s a few second delay, and sounds somewhat illegal but wondering if anyone on here uses it? - TC88
This is extremely similar to my set up. Although, ironically, I get my network television through an app called CreedTV. Definitely not legal, but if you're using a VPN (please use a VPN) you should be fine. I also subscribe to the Sportsnet+ app (NHL's only option up here) for the many games that I can't sit down for in real time. |

Tony, not sure where you stand on movies but like i said RAN (1985) is a feudal retelling with samurai's in early period Japan. Instead of daughters it is sons. It's an epic (about 2 hours 45 minutes) and Japanese subtitles. But it's an awesome movie. Akira Kurosawa directed it. - evitageN
I've heard of this, but didn't know it was a King Lear adaptation. I've seen his Seven Samurai many times, but have yet to check this one out. Thanks! I may move on to that after I finish season 1 of Shogun. It's fantastic so far!! |

Good call, I'd also recommend throne of blood which is a feudal retelling of Macbeth. |

I hear you, would recommend Hamilton or Six on broadway. Also still would recommend Throne of Blood, I think you might like it more than Macbeth on broadway for reason of Samurai's instead of well Shakespeare day and age haha.

When I think of millennials in this particular case I think of people in their very early 20’s wearing hoodies and jeans trying to become actors in a Broadway revival of a 600 year old Shakespeare play
But you can ignore the word milennials if you want and just think people in early 20’s
And personally I have no problem at all with people in their early 20’s, I just think in this case I felt it was easier to type that word.
Hope I answered that question sufficiently |

I just find it funny when x’ers and boomers talk about millennials like we’re still children when we’re all in our 30s and 40s |

Well the point here is that if you know the play Macbeth you know that there are witches in it. And Shakespeare describes them as extremely ugly. Green women with beards.
So I was taken aback when I saw the Broadway revival that the witches were just some young people in hoodies and jeans, no make up. Nothing
I don’t know. Maybe that better describes what I was trying to say? lol |
