A quality first step would be placing the top priority on winning as the sole focus and the only thing that matters for the entire organization.
- kingcong39

I agree, but it's more than that. The city has a certain preconceived idea among players and always has.

But I agree, they need to do a better job of placing the focus on winning, and make it more attractive. They're still facing a uphill battle, imo, in that regard.

You become the GM of the Rangers, Leafs, Panthers, heck, even Kings, Canucks, and you don't have that "city" battle on your hands.

I've seen him as high as 6-7 in some mocks the last few weeks

I do not see Catton, Iggy or Eiserman falling out of the top 10

That's why I think rather than play this year by year game with Zemgus, just give him the 5 year, $12m deal and let's commit to him for real
- Hank Balling

5 year, 1.2m, two-way. Let him retire an Amerk, if KA loves him so much.

Id keep it short and sweet. 2 for 5.25-5.75 million

I’m curious how Lindy feels about zem’s game?

I could see another 5-7 years with the Sabres
And another 5-7 years with the Americans

He’s gonna outlast Adams

Start looking like you are trying to WIN, instead of just Drafting and hoping it works. Make it desirable, Jesus the Bills do.
- Buff36

Yes, winning helps. Alot.

Having smart people running your team helps. Luck also plays into it.

Adams wanted to rebuild the system. Murray wanted to destroy it. Botts was an idiot.

The common denominator here? The owners. They deserve the blame more than anyone.

Rumors out there he is begging for league minimum from any other club in the league….Adams offer stands at $13.75m for 8, and unlimited Ubers to Pittsburgh.

This is going to go down to the wire.

This is a Lindy team. If you can't score, better bring some toughness. That's not Girgs.

Time for new leadership. Old group failed miserably.

Everyone is looking for some 4th line experienced gritty, penalty killing guy with speed to join the Sabres.

It’s easy to blame zem , we need MORE Girgensons not less lol

- Boss34

He isn't good at what you're claiming he is

As 36 mentioned, the Bills don't have that issue.
Kevyn created his own mess that is now becoming his downfall. They had taken a nice step forward with the '22-'23 season.. but took a dump on themselves this past season. He slow played the build, missed signals that it was time to adjust their strategy/timeline, then went total Bottom Feeder in the last offseason.

He now is screwed needing to make splash trades and signings to get negative view washed away.

He screwed himself and is living it.

Eiserman for sure is falling out
Catton and Iginla are right there at 9 or 10
All IMO of course.

I appreciate your opinion

I’m concerned that Lindy may not like Zem’s lack of old school physicality. He does play solid defense as a forward though

Regardless of his effectiveness or lack thereof, do you not agree with it being time for him to go elsewhere?

Nothing about him or his bloated salary is necessary to keep here. If you're going to have someone that provides so little then that guy should as least be sticking up for teammates on the ice

It depends on how he performed at the Combine. If he was able to demonstrate the injury has or will soon be healed-up good, then no I don't him falling much... Not out of 10 anyway.

If he did, bamm, jump on him.

Zem is hardly a fighter , although few guys can n the Sabres drop the gloves.

Have you heard anything on bills psl’s other then the club seats?

I see this side of the argument.

We need to win, if zem is holding us back, he should be fired.

My point though, he’s just a 4th line role player that does his job.
