Nope.
No true leader
No gamer, lots of passengers.
Mentally fragile group.

I remain unconvinced Tage is a 1C
I am not certain Dahlin will ever live up to his billing
Is Cozens 45 or 70 pt player?
Is Power a 1st Paring...Top 4 Dman?
Are Tage, Power, Samuelsson the biggest set of pussies with size in the league?

But this wasn't started because of the core, this conversation was started because of Buffalo not being a ideal destination for FA. It was said Murray tried to destroy it, Adams tried to rebuild it, and Botts was a Idiot. If Botts is a idiot then what does that make Adams when his Core is mostly Botts players. To me it just shows Adams can't finish his Puzzle to make a complete Team.

I still don’t get it.

My guess if the season goes well. Adams promoted to hockey ops or something then keep our line of GM promotions going

1) San Jose - Celebrini (C)
2) Chicago - Levshunov (D)
3) Anaheim - Silayev (D)
4) Columbus - Demidov (W)
5) Montreal - Lindstrom (C)
6) Utah - Yakemchuk (RD)
7) Ottawa - Parekh (RD)
8) Seattle - D!ckinson (LD)
9) Calgary - Iginla (C)
10) Calgary (via NJ) Sennecke (RW)
11) Chicago (via BUF) Buium (LD)
12) Philadelphia - Catton (C)
13) Minnesota - Helenius (C)
14) San Jose (Pit) - Eiserman (LW)
15) Detroit - Brandsegg-Nygard (RW)

Devils trade 10th OA to Calgary for Markstrom and 41st OA

Buffalo trades Jeff Skinner, 11th OA, 43OA to Chicago for 18th OA and 50th OA.

Buffalo then deals Joker, Rosen, 18th OA for Necas.

- Swedish_Jesus

Interesting
Essentially, Necas costs: 11-OA, Skinner, Joker, Rosen at the (roughly) same contract value as Skinner. Better player for sure, but I don't think Carolina takes Skinner back, and don't think Skinners wants to go back.

100% agree with you about tage

Dahlin is fantastic. His point total dipped due to the PP. but he’s been worth the hype.

Watch ekblad Hughes and the stars guy. Dahlin is definitely better than them. He just doesn’t get the hype

I think ruff will fix both of them

Just wait for the moves this offseason. It will be a bigger mess than last season.
He is getting taken to the bank.
Hope I am completely wrong.

Skinner would go to Chicago.

I would do both deals. Replacing skinner with necas would be a perfect upgrade for the top 6

He isn't paid to score, they brought him in for FO's and Penalty Killing. He was 80% on the dot last night and 100% Saturday.

Girgs comes close to achieving those %'s ... just when measuring time spent sprawled on the ice.

Gotta up your standards Boss. Try hard gets the team no where, even at Vet Min of ~$800k

- IonSabres

Reasonable post, but I think you could raise your standards a little though as well.

Idc who is on our 4th line because I don’t want them playing more then 8 minutes a night if that.

Load up the top 9 and get after it.

Edmonton and Florida have hardly used their 4th lines in the playoffs, seems to work out well for them

Bet you're right, or there was at least enough interest to scare them.

Smartest thing Adams could've done was let him move on and bring in someone new with a fresh perspective.

Instead, more of the same.

Yeah the guy that pushed for a Goalie in the 2nd rnd, that has been surpassed by a 5th rounder. While a few of the D that where available would have helped much more. Guy has been here for most of the playoff Drought

Through all of this losing, firing his coach before the extension kicks in, players leaving and making backhand comments regarding the Sabres….Adams continues to talk about how great everyone is at their jobs and how great the decisions he made were.

His new corporate dialogue includes “at the time it was the right/best decision”

This will be his only time as a GM in this league…joining fellow former Sabre employees

People laughed at the few of us who said GMTM got a raw deal, but the top-6 he built has basically lived in the finals.

Imagine if he was allowed to do his job?

He destroyed are prospect pool, he definitely had a eye for top talent. Just didn't know anything about the bottom 6 or Defense

That was outstanding.

I can relate to his story strongly, as my mother went through that battle twice.

Appreciate you sharing that.

Watched a second video from his feed on it below 🙏
